The godzilla reference could also mean something like ALLIGATOR, a giant lizard-like creature. I think Lionsgate may have lost the rights to that one recently.

Maybe both...
In context to House 4 and Alligator 2, Warner said they lost one and were about to lose the other. They did not specify which,

I wouldn't be opposed to this. I missed out on the DVD during the short window it was available because the director was adamant that the Blu-Ray would be following shortly, only for it never to materialize...

They actually have shot Dolls down before...

I dont think the Fly II is *big*

I know, its Without Warning, theyre going to announce it again !!
Id call something that they acquired from a studio from Lionsgate or Image like the Hellraiser movies big... quite the surprise. I think it could be Price II

Yeah. Price would be big. Not that it would be surprising, but that it would be six or so films.

They need to steal the guy the Lakeshore rightsholder works with from Image. So many classics underutilized.

The Miramax Halloween sequels, would those be considered *big* ? The films are okay/ good , but not in the same league as parts 1-3 (at least to me) I know there is a lot of love for Part 6

Its too bad Cliff said its not Godzilla because I just had a flash that they could have gotten Son of Godzilla and Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla - that would be big

At least the Producer's Cut of 6 is big. I could not give less of a crap about the other two, but the PC is one of the holy grails of unreleased horror, along with The Cabal Cut.

As of right now, it appears only Don May knows who has it though...

Fox are working with Mel Brooks on a Brooksfilms box set,as The Fly 2 is a Brooksfilm I doubt it will be released by Scream Factory.
I will pick it up if released by either company, although I do hope it's Fright Night part 2

Oh, well nevermind then. Sigh. Man, they're gonna run out of movies to release soon if they keep turning everything down.

Phantasm would be great, but I'd also love it if it's a solid release of Dawn of the Dead with all of the cuts. I'd get Japan's release if it wasn't so expensive.

I'd would be over-the-moon thrilled if they announce Vincent Price Vol. 2! Phantasm would also be pretty awesome.

It looks like Anchor Bay has finally lost the rights to Phantasm I, III and IV, so it could be possible that Scream Factory were able to get the rights to release them on Blu-ray. Even if they haven't and some other company got the rights, then it's more likely we'll see them released, than if they were still with Anchor Bay.

I'm hoping that if they do release them, then they'll release them individually instead of a box set where I would have to buy their disappointing release of Phantasm II again.
