My gut says its Phantasm-related.

Interesting, the documentary looks to be worth a watch.

As soon as I seen the date in that silver lettering Phantasm came to mind.

That's my guess, but Shout's already done The Fog.

I laughed at "another Evil Dead re-issue?".

Did Amazon just leak the announcement? If this is both Scream Factory and Anchor Bay related, there's now a pre-order up for Halloween Complete Collection.

Regular Edition

Deluxe Edition

I will be passing on this if that is the case, I already own 1-5 and I am waiting on proper releases of 6 and 7.

Yeah, I already own all of them, but the deluxe edition includes the producer's cut of part 6 and TV cuts of parts 1 and 2.

Damn it they had to do this. I wonder if there's a possibility of separate releases? I don't feel like rebuying Halloween 1-5, I really want the producers cut.

Brand new, never before seen bonus features including new interviews with cast and crew, commentaries, behind the scenes documentaries, and so much more. Plus, the NEVER BEFORE RELEASED Producer’s Cut of Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers! The set also features both Blu-ray versions of Halloween as well as the Network TV versions of Halloween and Halloween 2. Here it is, the one that started it all – Halloween: The Complete Collection.

So there you have it, the Producer's Cut of The Curse of Michael Myers is getting released on Blu-ray. I see that it was a highly requested title for Scream.

We'll probably have to wait. I'm pre-ordering the deluxe edition, anyway. Looks like the regular edition is just the 10 films along 10 discs, but the deluxe edition is 15 discs. But I'm sure most of the discs will be the releases we already have: Halloween 35th Anniversary Edition, Halloween 2 & 3 from Scream Factory, 4 & 5 from Anchor Bay, and then new blu-rays of parts 6 - 8, along with the Producers Cut of 6 and TV cut of 1. Then the two Rob Zombie Halloweens. I wonder if they'll put the TV cut of part 2 onto a blu-ray, since Scream Factory's release had it on a DVD. Probably won't make much of a difference, though.

I already have all of them on Blu-ray including duplicates of the first two, but I'm not sure if I can pass on this.

Pre-ordered, hoping for a price drop as it is a bit on the expensive side getting this to the UK.

I wonder if Anchor Bay are the ones who got the Miramax titles? That would mean that Anchor Bay now owns part 1 and 4 - 8. And if Scream Factory has made a deal with them to include parts 2 and 3, I think the box set is possible. I'm not sure how the Rob Zombie films would fit into it, though.

Since I'm only a fan of 1-4 and already have them on Blu-ray, I can't see any reason for me to buy this set. I have always preferred the extended cut of Halloween that Anchor Bay put out years ago that included the extra t.v scenes inserted into the theatrical cut but this just says t.v. cut.... Plus there is no way Rob Zombies crap remakes are sleazing their way into my collection.

Surely Scream would have got something in return most likely Phantasm? I reckon we will hopefully get a boxset of those films now finally.

This explains why Cliff was posting on his page. To get all the films, plus the TV version..Ive been kind of hoping for this, a huge box set with all of them..
I cant wait to read all the specs of all the films...this is just awesome news
And I can finally get rid of my "collectors edition" blu ray
Maybe they can contact Don May about his footage
