I miss the days when there was just news... it seems odd that more and more there's an announcement about an announcement. We're all excited, it's fun... but do they really need to tease the fans so much? Bring back the good old days of candid up front [even every Friday] announcements without all the "games." Now we're marking calendars for the date when we think we will get information (or not) to mark our calendars for a release. It's starting to get old exploiting the good name and fanbase Scream Factory has established, in my opinion, and over time they won't be able to sustain this type of marketing (I'm surprised it's worked so far).

...this had better be good.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)

It looks like the product description has returned to Amazon, although it is not yet available to be preordered again. I think those of us with existing preorders will be fine.

I separate all my SF stuff from the rest of my collection. We know each movie will have theatrical art and individual black cases, but beyond that basically... are these Anchor Bay titles, SF titles, or both? Ya know?

yeah i knew what you meant pal just thinkin out loud on the hhg eps as it said sf working on the features as well. I seperate sf releases too, slightly annoying when all sequels are not next to each other as well, NOTD, Halloween's, Witchboard etc

Exactly. I made an Olive Films genre section, so I don't mind those particular ones being separate, but Anchor Bay not being a specialty label, I really don't want to have a section for them as well.

I'm happy they didn't let this be some giant 007 thing or dvd-sized digibook, or michael myers head, etc.

That means I can retire ALL of my Halloween blu rays and the not so collectors edition DVD of it

My thought is now about H20 - remember that Echo Bridge released it in the wrong aspect ratio and the one to get was the Alliance blu ray ..
Im very curious to see this Producers Cut everyone raves about

It appears that 2 and 3 are Screams partnership. No one has said who owns the rest.. and time will tell if there is something in place for Phantasm.

IIRC, TWC has an ownership stake in Anchor Bay. They're probably taken care of through that.
