That would be fine if: (1) it didn't have nudity (nipples) and (2) it was a Psycho situation, where they could not create new art.

What's wrong with the nipples? Its not like retail stores carry these films anyways.

I can find pretty much ALL of the Scream titles at my local mall here in Winnipeg.

Here in the midwest US, Barnes & Noble is the only place that consistently stocks Scream titles, and lately even they aren't as dependable as they used to be. I'm pretty sure Fry's carry them, but there's none of those stores in this area of the country. FYE is another place to find them, but their stores are dropping like flies.

My 2 Barnes & Nobles have never carried any Scream Factory titles except for The Vampire Lovers of all things.

Until recently my local Hastings has been a good place to purchase Scream titles in store. I fear they also might be becoming a less dependable source as the three stores in my area never received stock of Sleepaway Camp. Unfortunately my local Barnes and Noble doesn't carry movies other than a few titles at the front desk.

Better yet, if it's the reverse cover art, people won't see it until they purchase it and open it up. Problem solved. That would be great artwork to use IMO.

The reverse artwork is always the US poster artwork, right? And in SQUIRM's case, the original US poster art is far superior to that Japanese art (that plantation-looking house and her sunbathing nude is really goofy looking). So I'm sure Scream will commission new artwork for the outside cover and use the excellent US poster art for the reverse.

Yeah, part of the point was to save $. I imagine they will pay someone to create new artwork for the cover since that seems to be the norm. I'm not about to get in a pissing match over artwork. I said I thought it would be great as the reverse IMO. I wasn't comparing the original US art to the Japanese art. oh forget it. I shouldn't have to feel like I have to justify an opinion.

Vincent Price Collection 2 i'll save lots of money for and for the Halloween set with Halloween 6 Producer's Cut.

I can't wait for Squirm too, time to retire and sell that old DVD.

I hope Shout also releases MST3K version of Squirm sometime in their future sets.

Just curious, what kind of sale does SF normally hold during October? There are several titles I want to pick up but I figure if I wait they'll have some of their best offers around Halloween

Last year they had an October sale, but IIRC the prices were the same as they are now during the summer sale.

...and if I remember correctly each day only had ONE title on sale for that day only...

It was still a great sale and one I hope they repeat this year as I will undoubtedly purchase at least a few titles, but by comparison, the summer sale with the inclusion of several titles each week AND the free Coasters has been the better sale.

Oooor.. they can save their money, use the US poster art for the slip cover and outer cover and use the Japanese poster for the inside cover. Better still, we won't have some cartoony cover with a head collage. Profit!

And as far as the teeny, tiny pinpoint nipples go, that is where you have easy to peel off stickers come in.
