Probably wishful thinking here, but couldn't the Miramax title be Existenz for a possible David Cronenberg set which could include Shivers, Rabid, The Fly remastered, and/or Dead Ringers if not still with Warners???

Not a bad movie really. Especially considering the budget. Looking forward to the documentarty and outtakes and to finally seeing this in HD.

Doesn't Criterion have Shivers?
And Sommerville flat out OWNS Rabid, right? Or am I mixing these up?

I doubt that's the set.

Yeah, that's why I wrote above that the box set would be more likely a Shout set, and there probably won't be a third box set this year from Scream. Phantasm and The Howling collections are still possible though, maybe for release next year, but not as the set with the Miramax title.

I believe Chris said that they went for Escape from New York, but MGM turned them down, as they don't want to sublicense that film out. Chris stated that they won't give up though and will continue to go after the title. So it probably won't be coming out this year, unless something has changed in the last few months.

Shivers was just a rumor. The only concrete ones were The Brood and (duh) Scanners.

YES. Any Fessenden, really. It's embarrassing that the only one of his films on Blu is the atrocious Beneath.

For a few extra dollars, you could get the whole series.

I certainly don't want to advocate buying Critters 3/4.

Tentative release date is scheduled at late October, and we are working on extras with Tim Lucas as we post this. More info to follow.

2)Children Of The Corn II (From the Miramax dealings)

3)Troll (From MGM)

4)John Carpenter's Escape From New York Collectos Edition (From MGM)

5)The Fly II (From Fox)

6)The Company Of Wolves (From ITV)

7)Stepfather II (From ITV)

Maybe:

8)Wes Craven's Shocker (From Universal) to be released in 2015

9)John Carpenter's Village Of The Damned (From Universal) to be released in 2015

10)Tales From The Crypt's Demon Knight (From Universal) to be released in 2015

11)Tales From The Crypt's Bordello Of Blood (From Universal) to be released in 2015

12)Candyman 2 (From MGM)

13)The Tripper (From Fox)

14)From Hell Collector's Edition (From Fox)

These are just guesses, but Shout has now earned legendary status for being able to have dealings with : Warner Bros, Morgan Creek, Miramax, Anchor Bay & The Weinstein Co.

So anything can happen!

now lets hope they can get to Lionsgate (Fright Night Part 2) & Brian Yusna (Society)!!

Now that would be a fantastic set of announcements worthy of Comic-con. I'm really worried that these announcements are going to end up being like lasts years and somewhat of a let down, but hopefully some part of your list is accurate.
