The bigger the company gets, the more able they will be to acquire larger titles or titles larger companies either do a bad job with their release or don't release at all. So yeah....Nightbreed and Halloween, especially Halloween, will help.

Kind of funny how people are like "Last year's Comic Con announcements sucked!"

But last year when the announcements were made, those of us who criticized them were lambasted by those very same people, who were all like "SHUT UP! Eve of Destruction RULES!!! I <3 Scream Factory!"

Oh, what a difference a year makes, I guess.

If any of the titles that have been shot down or the licensor is unknown are announced, even if it's just one, I'll be beyond happy. These include Hell Night, Blood Beach, Fright Night Part II or The Mutilator. If it's anything I already have from overseas (Dolls) I won't be unhappy, just meh'd.

I remember coming back from the pub pretty drunk and waiting to hear what the titles we're and being disapointed with the announcements, the best of which imo is still months off but i'll do the same this year too. Never understand anyone slagging someone off for having their own opinion as it does'nt affect my own.

I too was a little disappointed by last year's announcements. Although, I ended buying most of the releases, I wasn't very excited about any of them. My excitement came when they announced Night of the Demons, Witchboard, and Sleepaway Camp months after SDCC.

I am looking forward to hanging out on the forums again tomorrow to find out what titles are announced. Does anyone know what time the Scream/Shout Panel is this year?

The reason we were so disappointed last year probably has something to do with the fact that the previous Con they announced something at was huge (Burning, DOTD, NOTC, The Howling, The Fog, Lifeforce). Six big titles, one unexpected and five we were begging for.

I don't think Shout has announced anything and I don't think panels are usually aired.

I'm sure places like Dread Central, Fangoria, etc will be there so we'll hear updates pretty soon after. I'll be browsing Twitter during the panel since that's probably where stuff will be posted first.

Was that on this thread or over on Facebook? I don't recall many posters here having been especially upbeat about the announcements last year.

I literally just watched The Initiation this morning on Netflix. What a cool (although highly cheesy) 80's horror movie. I can't believe it took me this long to finally watch it. Right up my alley. I'd love to see this on Blu-Ray

A bit of both. I tried to keep up spirits here, although I have not seen Eve or Saturn 3. I won't be able to check out the thread until the following morning this year, though (unless my phone suddenly restocks the 3G again).

Just because you don't enjoy a certain movie doesn't mean other people on the forum don't. It's called having some tact, if it were the other way around I don't think you would like it.

Haven't a clue, non-sensicle anwsers to my question must mean you are having a go at me instead of any view a might hold which is why probably why you chose to reply to my comment even though it only stated what others had posted before and after my post. Just say it out loud fella, don't mince words, say whats on your mind other-wise you just another trouble causer on the internet like that other suspended poster.

oh and btw i don't mind other people not liking films i do, i'm a horror fan, i've had it all my life. I come hear to talk and listen to like minded people not to argue.
