Correct, maybe Arrow or if Kino could strike a deal for that title...All hope isnt lost. Its a terrific movie..

Now it's made as if it was taped off TV in 1987 and was recently discovered, check out the very convincing trailer: WNUF Halloween Special - Trailer - YouTube

It can only be purchased here - http://www.alternativecinema.com/ind...=27&submit.y=6

The special VHS version of it is sold out, so all that's left is the DVD version. Now, God forgive me if this has been posted before, but I thought a lot of people would get a kick out of this. I, myself have still not seen this, I'm waiting to hear more reviews before I shell out $22.99+ S&H on a DVD.

Is there anywhere else that sells this? I tried to order and when I went to checkout, PayPal said that the merchants account has problems associated with it and can't accept payments.

This doesn't make me feel good about using another payment option with the same site, but I really want to check this out.

I doubt Scream could afford whatever Universal would ask for the Jaws sequels.

Besides, didn't Universal at one point say they were releasing the sequels….

Assuming US rights to the title still belong to MGM, Twilight Time is probably a stronger likelihood than Kino, though they certainly wouldn't be my preference amongst domestic distributors.

There was an advertisement or mention of Jaws 2 and 3 coming from Universal with cover-art images in an issue of Rue Morgue (?, or similar magazine) around the release of Jaws 1.

Yeah. All four were supposed to come out on the same day. The sequels, for whatever reason, were cancelled.

Yep. 79 cents. I was going to but did not have enough on my gift cards and did not want to buy another until after X-Mas.

A third of the way through Nightbreed and I can already say, the book was way better. It isn't a bad movie, it's just too cheap looking for the spectacle that the story required. The actors and make up all look good and act well, but there have been many better horror book to film adaptations, which is strange, seeing as Barker was directly involved. I'll have to finish the film, and check out The Cabal Cut when it gets released to be certain about it though.

Not to mention that I hate the film's version of Sheryl. And Anne Bobby was not close to what I envisioned Lori as.

I think it's an Alternative Cinema exclusive. I didn't have any issues when I ordered it from their site back in October. I received my order within a couple of days (used Paypal for my payment).

OK, well I will probably just reorder it using a credit card instead but I really just wanted to use my PayPal balance.

And now I'm pissed. The first third was promising enough. After that, it went completely downhill. In the final battle, I couldn't tell what was going on, and I read the book!!!
Decker no longer appeared to have a motive. And characters that died in the book did not in the film, not even appearing injured. Babette also had little to no role in the film.

This is certainly one film that demands a remake. Not a movie remake though. A miniseries. That would be the only way to adapt it properly. Somebody get Showtime on the phone.

I thought the movie was interesting for the makeup applications, but like all of Barker's movies for me: it was kind of a mess. I'd like to think the Cabal Cut is going to be a huge improvement, but I'm not that hopeful. It's just been too long, and Clive has had too much time to try and re-work things to death. I would agree that a remake of this particular movie might work out better. The caveat though, is that I'm not entirely convinced Clive's work ever translates to the screen entirely well. He seems to have more trouble than Stephen King in that regard.

Anyone else slightly annoyed by Scream factory's inconsistent menu designs? Lately with Eve of Destruction, Crawl Space and The Beast Within they've stopped having scene selections and subtitle menus. Minor thing really but it just bothers my OCD tenancies. Am I just too crazy?

No, I find it annoying too. I fell asleep on the end of Horror Show and when I went to finish it the next morning I had to skip through the entire movie because there is no scene selection menu.

And their menus have been glitchy lately too. At least for me.

The menu for Q The Winged Serpent is the laziest it doesn't follow the format at all with the left sidebar. It's just weird for a company to be so inconsistent with their brand image.

It is annoying and inconsistent. That being said, my biggest complaint is the lack of scene selections. I mean that is something pretty basic. I can live without and maybe understand not getting subtitles, but no scene selection….seriously?! I've noticed that it tends to happen on the non special edition movies.
