Great news! Hopefully Arrow's release in Feb. doesn't steal all of its thunder though, as this is a release Scream has been trying to get for a while now. I personally don't import but I know many do.

So how many is that for 2014?

Bad Dreams / Visiting Hours
The Beast of Hollow Mountain / The Neanderthal Man
Beneath
Cat People
Darkman
Deadly Eyes
Dead Shadows
Die, Monster, Die!
Dog Soldiers
Ginger Snaps
Nightbreed: The Cabal Cut
Night of the Demons
Nosferatu, the Vampyre
Phantom of the Paradise
Sleepaway Camp
The Slumber Party Massacre
Witchboard

17 releases? That's a third of the way to their promise goal.

Are we the same person? Also, add Frankenstein Unbound (although unlikely because of Anchor Bay). The Fly II would be a stacked release. Everything from the 2 disc DVD and new stuff too.

I have blind-bought most of Shout's stuff but I'm definitely skipping this. Still happy for those that want it.

I haven't been truly excited with any announcement since the MGM deal was revealed tbh.

I forgot that one. A million times yes. I'd rebuy that along with Phantom.

Awesome!

Of all of the 60+ titles released or announced so far, PotP may be 2nd only to They Live for me

It's my first. Hell, it's in my Top 10. The only things that could beat that would be Army of Darkness: The Extended Director's Cut or The 'burbs.

1) Incredible line up already. I want pretty much all of those films!!

2) LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE is one of my fave films ever! I already have the German Koch Media blu but would double dip if Shout releases a collector's edition.

3) THE HORROR SHOW (HOUSE 3 here in the UK) is infinitely better than SHOCKER imo!

I have a feeling The Legend of Hell House, Ravenous and Lake Placid are also part of this new Fox deal.

I concur. Did you ever hear about they guy who put together the dvd package and the extras he planned to put on it? Apparently there were some interesting deleted scenes, such as a wrap-around story with a group of skiers who were marooned in a cave after being trapped by an avalanche. They start telling stories around a fire, which leads to the movie's story.

By the end, they are on the verge of dying when a rescue team finds them. The man leading the rescue team? Guy Pierce.

I highly doubt Lake Placid, if only because of the recently announced Anaconda Vs. Lake Placid.

Two Points:

1) Fantastic News about Phantom of the Paradise. I know Cliff was really trying hard to get it.

2) Now just get Shock Treatment (Shocky Horror Picture Show).

Why might I ask?

Odds are they'll be identical in terms of Quality, and Scream Factory will probably have more bonus content, considering the Arrow release won't have much to port over from the French release.

Everyone (who?, Internet People) seems to think they won't be producing anything new for it, whereas Shout will.
