Cliff, will the non-Collector's edition films like Death Valley, The Nest, Terrorvision, The Video Dead, The Island, etc. be a bit cheaper on the wallets?

I'm gonna say it will be the Howling. I'm gonna hope it will be the Howling as well.

They never said The Nest, The Video Dead and Terrorvision weren't getting collector's edition.

Some of us have tried reiterating this point on several occasions.
You'd think some people either aren't aware it ever existed, or they realize this, but don't trust buying from the UK or maybe are unable to?
Up to this point, I didn't really find any of those reasons excusable for big time fans of the movie, but now that Shout is most likely about to announce it; it would appear the wait for those fans has paid off because I'm sure the Shout/Scream Factory release will have an edge over the UK-Optimum release in terms of packaging and extras, but I think the PQ and AQ will be nearly identical, with a slight improvement from the newer Shout/Scream release.

The Fog having had a UK release has nothing to do with Shout's plans for a stateside release. When Shout says "never before released" they're talking about the U.S. I have the import - trust me, it CAN look better.

The more I think about it, I believe next year's mystery box set may actually turn out to be a Howling Collection since Shout now controls the rights to the majority of the sequels (presumably including II, which is MGM). A Phantasm set is looking less likely.

Thumbs up

Well it makes sense, the one I forgot about...This will keep the Fog under wraps until the horror convention if they really are going to release it...and keeps a possibility of a Howling Box set (although the first one is what Id want)
I like Re-Animator more, and its a better film, but I certainly enjoy this gory slimy shocker..Welcome to HD world (in the USA) From Beyond !

Wow! This was an unexpected surprise but certainly a welcome one. A little Stuart Gordon should go nicely with the Scream Factory line. My recent release schedule post has been updated with this latest announcement which can be found on page 106.

I'd love to see "Dolls" join the Scream Factory family. If Carpenter can potentially get a few flicks that he directed or was involved with into this collection then I can't think of a better Gordon film to join "From Beyond".
