SOLD!

Excellent cover right there, and I have to say I giggled through all your responses.

Very very clever.

I like the cover of Sleepaway Camp except for Angela's floating head myself.

I gotta say the artist's rendition of Angela is one of the closest I've seen to look exactly like the actress.

I"m stoked for that artwork. Scream factory has the best movie covers. This isn't my favorite of theirs but looks awesome and can't wait to see all the bonus features

Nathan makes my favorite covers for the Scream Factory releases. I think he did a good job on this one.

That's probably the first drawn cover I've liked it some time....in general though, the renditions I've seen the last few months have been rather subpar in my eyes....

See, so far, I've liked all of the new art for the Collector's Editions. They remind me of all the old "Special Edition" DVD releases that had unique art.

Oh....I only speak for myself on that. It's just my opinion anyways....lol If some like them, hey that's awesome.... I consider it equally awesome that reverse art with original art is possible. Choices are a good way to please everyone... Something I give credit to Scream Factory for doing.

I wasn't trying to attack you or anything like that, and if you took that from my post, I'm sorry. I was merely offering my perspective on them.

Really dig the "Sleepaway Camp" artwork, great job on this one "Scream Factory."

Regarding the new "Cat People" release, I see the site review gives a sort of 'middle of the road' review, kind of less than stellar, was just curious to hear some thoughts from people who've seen it for themselves and what they thought. I think I'm going to buy regardless, but believe it or not I value the opinion of the everyman as some people just simply like to bash "Scream Factory" transfers regardless.

Also how good are the new interviews on the disc? I hate how whoever reviewed it for the site just lists who participated and how long they are, tell us if there's anything interesting divulged or something, you're suppose to review the bonus material if I just wanna know what's there I can look at the back of the cover.

I'll give you my input: I just watched it last night (and watched "Die, Monster, Die!" tonight, btw), and I can say it's not a stellar release, but still worth buying. The video quality is just good, not great, and that's not taking into account any technical specs, and simply commenting on what I saw. Unfortunately, the extras aren't stellar. In fact, I'd say they're not even good. "Okay" at best. Now, I don't tend to value extras as highly as others do, so it's not a major issue to me, but to you, it could be, so keep that in mind.

I do agree with that, but I just find the placement rather comical. It reminds me of Marville #2 (which, as anyone that's read it, or watched Linkara's videos know, is not a good thing).

Went to Hastings tonight, where you will occasionally see a (single) copy of each Scream Factory title around it's release date. To my surprise I saw:

The Howling x3
Body Bags x3
The Horror Show x2
Halloween II
Halloween III (sans slip)
Swamp Thing
Scanners II/III

...among others

So as an impulse buy I picked up Die Monster Die, 5 Chillings Visions, and Eve of Destruction

Every Hastings I have been to always have Scream/Shout titles. One of the few places were you can actually get them at a B&M place.

It's odd the Barnes and Noble near me usually get the Shout/Scream titles and they did not get Raise The Titanic or Cat People. I hope this is not a pattern emerging.

I might be wrong, but I don't think there are any Hastings around me. And if there are, I've never seen any. I'm getting Jealous now!

They're based in Texas I believe - I haven't heard of stores east of there, but I could be wrong.

For what it's worth, I pre ordered CAT PEOPLE through B+N online and I have yet to receive a response from them saying that it shipped. It's possible they didn't receive there copies yet but who knows.
