Might be the echo effect of the Christmas/New Years Holiday period, i.e. lead time turnaround for prepping titles for release.

Five? I count four Godzillas and a King Kong standalone. Is there another Godzilla I missed?

I *Kount* King Kong Escapes since its made by the same people who did the Showa Godzilla series and features Gorosaurus, who appeared in Destroy All Monsters with Godzilla and every other monster (and all the toys from the toy box)
To me I see them as its all relative, Godzilla and Godzilla related.

I can see your logic, although I see it as a separate film and spin-off combined. Sort of like Vulgar in that regard (character of Vulgar the Clown originating in Clerks, mention of Walt Flannigan's Dog)

I am also beginning to think that one of the deals is with Toho for Son of Godzilla and Godzilla Vs. MechaGodzilla.

I believe both of them to also be with Kracken and will come out after the first three, if they sell well. Sony didn't renew their license for the Showa films.
If Scream Factory got them it would be amazing, but I feel its not likely. I could be wrong though, and Im not against them getting Godzilla movies, but I just don't see it. They could get Godzilla 1985 ..or not, I don't know..I have no idea who owns it in the USA..but it was shot down anyway. They are expensive to license from what Ive read and been told.

I realize how annoying repeated questions can be. But Code Red has the best and most nice customer service:

What are your favorite titles that Scream/Shout Factory has released to Blu-ray?

They all seem so 'cult-ish', I just don't know what the best are!

Thanks!

I wasn't doubting it sorry, I was just wondering if there was a link to the actual
post or statement.

Any idea what the titles could be?

Not really. No one really knows for sure what titles are coming. But best guesses are Nightmare, The Redeemer, Messiah of Evil, and maybe Sweet Sixteen? I don't have a link b/c he stated this in a closed Facebook group, which I'm not a member of the group. I found out when someone, who was a member of the group, reposted his comment on The Latarnia Forums which anyone can browse. Just go to Nightmare USA section of the forum.

Thanks!

Just took a look, someone said the first three are coming, and more!

March is going to be expensive, because they're all definite purchases. Also apparently the person involved with Nailgun Massacre is a bit slow, which is explaining why the release is behind.

Are you asking because you want to start buying up Scream Factory titles? If so, I'd say the best ones to start with are:

- Halloween II
- Halloween III
- They Live
- From Beyond
- The Burning
- The Howling
- The Fog
- Night of the Comet

I'd argue that those are the most accessible titles that Scream has put out, and thus the most likely to be enjoyed by a wider range of individuals.

There are so many but i still get happy knowing i've got "Halloween 3" on blu-ray full of special features, esp a tour of the locations - AWESOME. "The Nest" too is a great release in my opinion, and "The Burning" - i could go on and on tbh.

I'd agree with this list, minus From Beyond, which I'd definitely describe as cult-ish. Reanimator (though not a Scream release) would be a slightly more 'accessible' related-title.
