Speaking of Halloween III, is anyone getting that German steelbook from NSM, the one with the lenticular cover? At first I thought it was just a terrible design but after viewing an unboxing I now think it looks kind of cool. It's certainly different. As a rabid steelbook collector I now find it's a necessity for my collection so I grabbed a copy from Diabolik.

Night of the Comet is my favorite movie released from SF. It's that kind of film that I can watch all day long and never get bored, and always catch a new detail.

It certainly is different, I really like the Trick or Treat Steelbbok on Diabolik, SF really needs to jump on the Steelbook Bandwagon and they can start with Trick or Treat

I'm sure this has been asked before, and I went back a couple pages to see if I could find an answer, but what is the best way to pick up some of these Shout/Scream Factory blus cheaper? They seem to hover around the $20-$25 range.

I haven't done it myself, but people seem to be using this site nowadays:

http://www.familyvideo.com/

And my top picks would be:

1- They Live
2- Prince of Darkness
3- From Beyond
4- Prison
5- Lifeforce
6- The Burning
7- Vincent Price Collection
8- Day of the Dead
9- The Nest
10- Halloween III

You might be able to save some money through sites like importcds.com, familyvideo.com, or blowitoutahere.com. Each of these sites have different shipping policies, so you'll want scrutinize the totals beyond just the list prices.

Yeah, I suppose you're probably right on that.

Another reason to dump them. If they raised their prices AND don't ship before street date anymore there's no reason left to buy from them IMO.

btw, just received my copy of the German Halloween 3 steelbook. Artwork is by Nathan Thomas Milliner, same guy who does some of Shout's covers. Did not expect to see that he came up with that design. Now that I have it in my hands I'm glad I bought it - it's very nice.

Rawhead rex! Anybody has any clues as to who own this little monster gem? Did scream factory ever looked into that one? They could use Clive Barker's name to sell it too! The short story it's based on is much better, obviously but the movie was still a lot of fun with one of the best monster design! I'd buy that in a heart beat!

**SURPRISE TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT!**

Are you ready to devour another release from us? Well here’s a monstrous one for you…

The crocodile-chompin’- Betty-White-swearin’ film LAKE PLACID will be coming from us as a Collector’s Edition this Summer, which also marks its first time on Blu-ray! Released in 1999 and directed by Steve Miner (Friday the 13th Parts 2 & 3, Halloween: H20) this humorous take on the tried-and-true menacing reptile story stars Bridget Fonda (Single White Female), Bill Pullman (The Serpent and the Rainbow) and Oliver Platt (2012). Also notable, the film was written by famous TV Producer/Screenwriter David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, L.A. Law, Boston Legal).

While we can’t provide a street date at this time, expect this to drop in Mid-Summer. Pre-order links should go up in sometime in April. Look for a full list of extras sometime in May. New key art is also coming soon too but the image you see here – the original theatrical poster – will be on the reverse,

Our “Summer of Fear” is certainly starting to shape up. Starting in May, our releases include Final Exam, Evilspeak, Nosferatu (1979), Sleepaway Camp, Ravenous, Dog Soldiers, Hellhole, Deadly Eyes, Ginger Snaps, Phantom of the Paradise and now this. And, believe it or not, we still have more coming!

Rawhead Rex is probably public domain at this point. Lol. It is such a cheesy movie, I'd love to see it on blu-ray. Priest urination in HD. Lol.

Great news! I've always wanted to get this, now I know why I waited!
Love the very final scene in this!

Can't wait to hear about extras and artwork! I'm surprised, as this is pretty recent film. Glad to see Scream expanding the date range!
