In fact, doesn't Katharine Isabelle shoot up Wolfsbane? How could you not love a scene like that!? |

Well, having seen this in the Twilight Time thread, someone had asked Twilight Time if Burnt Offerings, Audrey Rose or Pumpkinhead were planned. TT responded that they had acquired one of those titles which would be released later this year. The reason I bring this up is that apparently, Scream Factory stated on Facebook that another company had picked up Burnt Offerings, which leads me to believe that THAT is the title in question...

I ordered Halloween II (released a year and a half ago) a couple of weeks ago, and to my surprise it came with a slipcover. It came from Amazon seller allyourmusic.com, which seems to have the the best prices when importing from US to EU via Amazon.

Kinda hoped it was Audrey Rose - it's a great creepy little flick. Shout could still pick it up. |

I suspect this "Canadian accent" might be a regional accent like something from the maritimes...Newfoundland being the most obvious. Maybe it's because I'm Canadian but I never noticed an accent from Monty Hall (Winnipegger), Lorne Greene, Raymond Burr, Leslie Neilson, William Shatner, Dan Akroyd, John Candy, Jim Carrey, Paul Anka, Martin Short, Nathan Fillion, Michael J. Fox, Ryan Reynolds, John Vernon or a thousand other Canadians who grew up here and started working here before making it in the U.S.. I can't help but believe that some Americans are hearing a regional accent and calling it a Canadian accent. When I hear Penny Marshall talk, I don't think of her as having an "American accent" anymore than I think of Reba McIntyre as having an American accent. Well to be fair, they haven't outright confirmed which one of the three it is, but that one appears to be most likely. For all we know, they may have grabbed Pumpkinhead (which has been a title I've wanted Scream to release for over a year now).

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned for sega." Stuff like that still makes me laugh. Clerks 2 is good but clerks is a masterpiece. |
