I am a male who enjoys Ginger Snaps for the very reason it seems the males here do not. I love being able to watch a movie that I cannot directly connect with but appreciate what it is trying to go for, and Preston nailed it when he attributed it to a Cronenberg-esque style of storytelling. Im gonna re-visit my DVD tonight, I think.

I don't think I have ever seen The Final Terror, but it will most likely be a blind buy from me. I love the hidden slashers, and this one gets a lot of praise from places I find reliable.

Anyone else find this a bit suspicious in regards to: Curse of the Black Widow, Other Phantasm Titles, Pumpkinhead, Invaders From Mars, C.H.U.D. or The Stuff.

Anybody else seem to think that this odd comment might show a future deal for MGM or Don Coscarelli? Usually they just don't answer or say no.

^ that also begs the question that if they did/were trying to get, let's say Phantasm, why not just ignore the comment all together. They don't answer everything...

Wow Congrats scream, and with a new title comes an updated Poll, This time close to 90 new titles have been added to the poll, and the removal of "The Final Terror" who had 8 votes. Keep up the voting, tell your friends. Also Here is a link to the excel sheet, so everyone can see what is the highest voted title and much more.

Never heard of Final Terror but, i'm a sucker for "people dying in the woods" type movies. Sounds like a safe bet to me.

Absolutely!

I was not sure about what to watch tonight, but now I think I just might throw in my Canadian Ginger Snaps DVD. If I am still awake after that, I will try to at least get in part 2 and maybe do "Snaps Back" tomorrow (yes, I enjoy all of them).

Very disappointed that Katherine Isabelle dropped out of the last Rock and Shock. I hope she comes back this year to make up for it and brings Emily Perkins with her. That would be a Rock and Shock to remember!

EDIT - just ran downstairs to my "DVD vault" so to speak to grab the Ginger Snaps movies and found another excellent example of girls going bad…

I also found a bootleg I forgot I had of another, non-horror favorite. I guess this one would be boys going bad…haha!

I love my trips to the DVD vault!

Awesome. I'm very happy you see it from that point of view.

If you're referring to the 905 Entertainment DVD, I'm not sure if that was really a legitimate, properly licensed release or not.

Awesome man Final Terror coming to BD at last.

Will Dog Soldiers get a new restoration and look less shitty than the terrible BD?

I would imagine so, as it is listed as such in the Leonard Maltin movie guide, as of 2014.
