Those are with Lionsgate. Lionsgate doesn't license their films.

Sorry meant to put a winky in there, instead of a smiley...but thank you for clarifying.

I really do like the "werewolf genre" so I could see me getting this.

Who knows perhaps Scream will pick up the Twilight films...then I'd really be a tough spot!

No need for anyone to blind buy it, it's on youtube.

Personally, I love it & I can't wait for the blu-ray.

I don't like to watch full movies on youtube, but thanks anyway.
I'll see how I feel when the preorder goes live.

Just out of curiosity, do you recall Emily Perkins in the Abortion Clinic scene in Juno?

She also played Channing Tatum's lab partner, with Amanda Bynes in She's The Man.

She looks different in every movie she's in. It's bizarre, I never recognize her at first no matter what film it is.

The fact is, i'm a 28 year old full grown masculine male, and I genuinely think that this is probably one of the best films ever made, regardless of it's genre.

Like Preston said, the allegory and metaphors that are explored in the film are incredibly essential to understanding and appreciating it. The themes aren't just highlighting the issues that teenage girls go through, they are universal to pretty much everybody, and i'm not just talking about the puberty issues. The outsider tag vs wanted to be accepted by the norm conflict is a theme that doesn't get talked about much with this film, but it's right there and I think many people can relate to that.

And like another poster said, it's very hard not to care about any of the characters. How could you not care about Ginger and Bridgette? Their ordeal reminds me a lot of Seth Brundle and Geena Davis' tragic fates in Cronenberg's The Fly. Not being able to do anything about the metamorphosis and how that affects the mind. That's the even more tragic thing about those films, it's not just a physical breakdown, but its a mental breakdown too and it's affects on their relationships are extremely devasting.

How could anybody NOT like this film? Lack of werewolves? Lol, go watch Underworld, guys. You'll get your werewolf fix that way..
Brilliant post dude. I mean yeah, everyone goes through puberty. There's nothing in the movie you can't relate to. Hell I see myself in multiple female characters. Just recently, I read the preview pages for the new Ms. Marvel. Already I see myself in Kamala Khan herself.

She was also perfectly cast as the depressed girl in Adventureland. Anything requiring a range from her seems to asking a bit much though.

I saw Twilight and she was awful but then I watched Adventureland and after maybe 5 minutes of distrust from Twilight I was completely in love with her for the rest of the movie. She's perfect in that movie. It might be just a case of her lucking out with a good script, but man, I'll never trash her again after seeing that. People tell me she was good in Panic Room too, but my only memory of her in that was honestly not realizing she was a girl until about half an hour in when someone referred to her with a gendered pronoun.

Both of the stars in Ginger Snaps showed up in the X files season 4. Emily Perkins plays the deformed quadruplets that are being born up to heaven by a seraphim, and Katherine Isabelle's dad gets attacked by psychically controlled tree roots (also, gets stalked by a hilarious emogoth kid)!

Can anyone tell me why Scream Factory hasn't looked into Waxwork 1/2, House 1/2?

Because they aren't available to them.

House 1 and 2 are with Image/Lakeshore.

Waxwork is Lionsgate, as is the sequel.

I think people just like different things just like toppings on a pizza, personal preference. I've heard some say on this forum they don't rate "The Exorcist" which is a 10/10 classic for me but other people are not me. Theres loads of movies i like that fans and critics alike absolutley savage but i enjoy, take "My Soul to Take" 98% of people seem to really hate that film but i've seen it a few times and love it( not to mention peoples faces when i tell em "Grease 2" is unbelievably brilliant) we all like different things, even on this forum.
Regarding "Ginger Snaps" while not being a fan in the past i have ordered the dvd to rewatch( i too am not a fan of watchin films on youtube) after seeing the passion alot have for it on here. Btw, i have always liked Emily Perkins in everything i have seen her in, much better than dead eyes imo.

Just thought i would let any UK or Euro scream fans that Amazon uk has alot of sf titles cheaper than normal at the moment but with low stock. Alot of CE less than £14 delivered some less and a good few non CE at £10.15p delivered, also, many 3rd part sellers undercutting. Just ordered "Cat People" CE for £13.83 delivered., great price.

Indeed, I too ordered Cat People last night and am tempted by Night of the Comet. Also got Crawlspace for £10.15 delivered. The Blu-ray only titles are around that price. Unfortunately the combo packs are still hovering around the £15 delivered mark.

Does anyone think that Scream Factory could get the rights to Dead Alive, Fido, or Cemetery Man??

I'd say little to no chance on all 3. Fido was released on DVD as part of a Horror multi-pack by the dreaded Lionsgate, while Cemetery Man is likely being held for ransom by the Italian producers. Dead Alive, well, let's just say it's a Peter Jackson film. He's practically his own studio, which means it'll probably cost lots of $$ to license.
