lmao (at those people)

Not to overuse a tired meme, but talk about first world problems. "A blu-ray label didn't address MY grievance for little-known/unprofitable movie X and now I need to sulk about it"

I was curious as to where most of you pre-order your SF titles at?

Amazon.com is where I would usually buy movies from but due to a certain reason I'm about to stop using them. I dislike that SF titles are not released in certain stores like Target or Walmart. Would make this problem a lot easier to deal with.

I preorder mine at Movie Stop. Really like getting them there because there usually about $18 reserved.

Thanks for the replies!

Amazon is apparently using some relatively new company called OnTrac to deliver it's packages instead of USPS. Numerous people online are complaining that this company is full of fail as well as being shady, ie: stealing packages and whatnot. Apparently my recent package was delivered on the 4th...nope. F*** you Amazon.

Oh, and Amityville Horror, obviously.

Last update we got was the official blu ray artwork which I imagine you already know about. My main concern is the actual PQ then sound quality. The extras will just be the icing on the cake, really.

I really hope they've done a fresh 2K scan or something. I seriously don't want this one DNR'd otherwise i'll go nuts.

Funny thing is that a lot of the negative reviews online are from Prime members. Apparently Amazon uses both OnTrac and USPS and it seems to be random according to customer service when I emailed them last night about my missing package.

Staying on topic...

It kind of sucks that Darkman's PQ only got a 3/5 in Blu-ray.com's review.

Prime-eligible items have always shipped through UPS. Next week I have pre-orders for Tourist Trap and Darkman arriving so I guess I'll see if anything changes.

I suppose I also have incentive to use Amazon because I have their Chase card, so a $20 pre-order actually comes out to about $19.40. It's not much but it is something

I've never gotten anything shipped via UPS from Amazon (I'm a Prime member). Re Tourist Trap - good luck with that. It's been pushed back until September. The UK release is supposedly coming next month but there's no confirmation yet. Would be funny if you actually receive a copy next week

September? Good lord.

As far as prime shipping, yeah I dunno, maybe its because I'm out in the Boonies (Montana)

It does. No one shipping carrier is necessarily the best choice, both from a cost perspective and a quality perspective, nationwide.

Someone recently stated that they got H2 with a slip, I think from Amazon... Search back a few pages and you should find the post.
