So... Like Lionsgate did with Twilight? They released a set with the first three movies with open slots for the last two.

Or like Kevin Smith did with the Askewniverse. Have all the movies separately, and then be able to get a box to put them all in.

Going back to the rumoured MGM deal, IF they do have another deal (which doesn't seem likely somehow), I would hope they would have gotten at least one of my 'Un-Holy Three': Squirm, Motel Hell and Deranged. There are other MGM movies I'd like to see Scream Factory release but those are at the top of my list.

Someone, somewhere (I can't remember where) actually said that MGM may have lost the rights to Squirm? Does anyone know anything about this?

Arrow Video said MGM have a few years left on the rights to Squirm.

I'd like to see Shout release Strange Invaders and Tobe Hooper's multi coloured Invaders From Mars. Imagine how they'd look upgraded to blu!

Invaders from Mars. Yes.
Strange Invaders. God No. Horribly boring.

The only thing that could come close to Final Terror for me would for Scream to announce other seemingly lost films, that have never had a legit DVD release, aside from bootlegs.

Now, if they announced Funeral Home, Savage Weekend, Mutilator, The Prey,or Trick or Treat 1986, to name just a few, then I'd be approaching Final Terror excitement.

I'm 99.999% certain Phantasm will see Blu one day. Probably as soon as the Anchor Bay deal lapses. So, even though it is a much bigger title than what I listed, it wouldn't be as exciting for me. I get most excited for the obscure titles that will probably never see a proper DVD release, much less a Blu Ray. That's why The Final Terror is the release of the year for me. Plus, I think the movie rocks!

Wasn't Jeff Bloom, the director of BLOOD BEACH, shopping the movie around recently? That's another lost film that needs a Blu-ray.

Heck, everyone is doing it…I am going to throw a random horror title out there too…

DEATH SPA!

Never seen it, but my friends and I saw a trailer on an old VHS and flipped out at how ridiculous it looked.

That sounds like more of a Code Red deal... Or Scorpion.
