I posted this in the Funhouse thread, figured I'd put it here, too. Don't wanna start a panic, but figured if there is a glitch, better to get it out ASAP:

Won a copy of this last night at the Rock and Shock convention. Gave it spin. Not sure if it's my player or the disc, but I'm having freezing issues with the main menu. If I open one of the features slide and the video loop in the background starts over, I can't navigate the selection anymore and have to reboot. I tried bypassing it by starting the movie and using the pop-up feature while it plays and still had similar issues. Maybe Cliff can shed some light on it.

Show me a source of info and this be the best news I've heard on the flick since I don't know when. Hopefully, 'Scream Factory' get up on this sh*t and give it a proper release if Dimension/Miramax or whoever with it doesn't pony up. If this is even legit, as much as we all wanna believe it let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Have you updated your software?
All our discs go through a comparability test (tested on about 50 players)before they are replicated. I watched the disc on an LG player and Playstation.

Cliff, can you confirm that Anchor Bay's license on "Day of the Dead", "Phenomena", "Tenebra", "Demons" and "Demons 2" has expired? Obviously, these would be wonderful to see under Scream Factory's banner but I read this news and figured you may know first hand. Thanks in advance man!

I wish there was a worldwide movie database that was compulsory for studios to enter in all details of current and upcoming releases (With email alerts)

I understand the br.com is as close as I can get to this right now but man it would make things a lot easier to track titles.

Sounds good, Cliff. Heard some things and was just curious if it was true. Any official plans for Shout having a booth at Horrorhound yet?

Really looking forward to the panel, Cliff. Beside meeting Jamie Lee Curtis after all these years, the Scream Factory panel is what I'm most looking forward to at the event. You guys better be ready to spill the beans on stuff that'll make us drool

Just got back from Vegas, and came home to read the great news about From Beyond being released by Scream Factory next year. Day one pre-order for me!

I updated my firmware a few months back. Using an Insignia NS-BRDVD3.
Gonna give it another go and see if the issue persists.

Cliff, please, dear lord please get these...I am dyin' to see Curtains in OAR with a respectable transfer. Perhaps my most wanted title. *begs*

If Anchor Bay lost the rights to Demons i would love to see Scream Factory jump all over that.

I, too, would triple-love to see CURTAINS get some love and the proper treatment it deserves. It's a gorgeous film that, sadly, has been the bearer of incorrect OARs and poor VHS-based transfers.

Two more films that I would love for Scream Factory to consider: THE MUTILATOR and BLOODY NEW YEAR, both underrated horror favorites from when I was growing up.

If it is only one title that Anchor Bay has given the rights up to I'm betting it's "Day of the Dead". If you do a search on their website nothing comes up anymore for it while the other titles are still in their database.

I think its safe to say that we all want a respectable release of Curtains, unfortunately Echo Bridge still has the rights and they won't license their films. It's much like the Prom Night situation....

Code Red has the rights of "The Mutilator". They were actually about to release it and then something happened.

Planet of Dinosaurs would be cool, anyone remember the DVD Retromedia put out in 2008 - the 30th anniversary edition but the artwork incorrectly said 20th anniversary ?
