I'm kind of new to scream factory. Hope not to bother, but a few questions.

When/Where do they make their announcements? I see them here, but is it fb/twitter?

Any possibility of House on Haunted Hill getting a release from them? Either the classic Vincent Price or the 99? remake?

Thanks in advance for the help and hopefully everyone gets their desired titles in good fashion!

Facebook.
No to both. The original is Public Domain, meaning they'd lose money (somehow). The new one is Warner, and they do not often sublicence.

Warner Brothers has the rights to the remake and aren't known for licensing films.

The best film elements to the original are also probably in WB's possession, but the film is apparently public domain. Warner isn't likely to license out their elements and Scream Factory has shown no inclination to take a chance on PD films.

Airplane
Caddyshack
Ghostbusters
This Is Spinal Tap
The Blues Brothers
Back to the Future
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Gremlins
Beverly Hills Cop
Bull Durham

...and my personal favorites like Eating Raoul, Pee-Wee's Big Adventures and Better Off Dead. Among others. There are tons of awesome '80s comedies

But the real question, is which ones are more "important"

Ginger Snaps is more important than any of them.

Did not care for Blues Brothers myself. Too long. And I much prefer Beverly Hills Cop II. Not a fan of Spinal Tap either. May need to rewatch that.

Best 80s comedy = "Ruthless People" for me. Never the biggest fan of "Porky's".

I mean the film. I'd rank it as one of the worst, if not the worst blu-ray I own.

I just love it. Its so funny and wacky. It's one of my personal favorites. I wish it was present in better quality, of course, but I'm such a fan that I couldn't avoid the blu-ray. Unfortunately.

I didn't get it from Amazon, I got it for $5 New and Sealed from a 3rd party seller. I would have paid 30 though. I love the film, but the quality is atrocious.

Don't avoid Devolved from Severin. It's not what it appears to be.
But I wouldn't seek it out, necessarily. But if you get the chance, I'd take a shot at it.

This is possibly my most coveted 80s blu-ray:

Co-written by the great Jim Wynorski, the king of awful/awesome sequels:

Deathstalker II
Big Bad Mama II
The Return of Swamp Thing
Sorority House Massacre II
976-Evil 2: The Astral Factor
Point of Seduction: Body Chemistry III
Ghoulies IV
Body Chemistry 4

And let's not forget Transylvania Twist and Munchie.

Hey Scream Factory, I just gave you an awesome 3-months worth of announcements.

I haven't watched it in a while, but I remember it looking really good. I haven't seen the Screwballs disc, but I did see the review/screencaps on this site, and it looks much much much better than that.
