Are you thinking of the same movie?

McGill was the brother who lived with his crazy sister. I guess he could be considered a father of sorts since him and his sister were trying to find the perfect son or daughter. I don't remember Perlman being in the film though.

Some of McGill's scenes and lines always crack me up. "Hope you catch him...catch him in hell!" That dance he does when he thinks he killed the boy, "I got him, I got him, I got him I got him I got him!"

To me Retro is something along the lines of the movies that Retromedia releases
(which I like better than Retro 80s films I might add..okay I will add ! )
Retromedia's done quite a few 80's, 90's and 00's films themselves.

The Scream Factory facebook page confirms they will announce 'a couple' of titles on the Dread Central talk show.

Let the speculation begin. If they're for August, are we expecting two of the (probable) three Fox titles left (Legend of Hell House, Tales from the Crypt and Vault of Horror seem to be good shouts)? Or might we get that 'surprise' one, which is unlikely to be part of the Fox deal?

Hell yes he was! I wish he was in more films, apparently he retired or got out of the game quite early.

But I was kidding.
What's goin' on... At Nuke 'Em High....

Toxic Avenger is coming to BD soon, Excited about that.
Funny thing is... I always thought Toxic Avenger should have been the 1st BD from Troma. ????

That's first special feature should be good. The effects in Dead Shadows are amazing.

I guess the trailer isn't very indicative of their quality since I thought they looked terrible. An overusage of bad CGI for one thing.

Feel free to let me know otherwise.

I find 1981-84 to be the best period for horror as far as the 80's go. Everything became self-referential and slapsticky after that.

I think Scream should put out Angel (1984). The German blu has a great transfer but it really expensive. Or do you think it would be more of a Shout title? I think it could fall nicely under either.

Didn't know there was a German BD of Angel - might have to seek it out. Or maybe Arrow will release the trilogy since they have some of the Lakeshore catalog. They really need to exploit more of that library.

EDIT: Just bought the German Angel BD for $23 and some change. Thanks RiFiFi!
