Who knows, I've asked for a year cut off, like no films before 1930's, but so far no answer, for all we know it could be any film from 1890-1989

To me Retro is something along the lines of the movies that Retromedia releases
(which I like better than Retro 80s films I might add..okay I will add ! )
Just think...in the 80s movies like War of the Worlds, The Fly and Invasion of the body Snatchers were as old to us then as 80s movies are to us now.

EDIT: Just bought the German Angel BD for $23 and some change. Thanks RiFiFi!
No problem! Where did you get it from? Last time I checked Amazon.de it was listed at like 19.99 Euro's. Y

Amazon Germany. Very reasonable I think, especially if the PQ is better than average

As far as I'm aware, the first known feature length horror film would have been the 1911 version of Dante's Inferno (aka L'Inferno). I feel pretty safe it won't be a pre-1911 film.

My response, although true to my knowledge, was also meant as a joke.

I read on Scream's Facebook page recently someone asking if any 70s films were lined up this year, and they replied that 2014 would not contain many 70s films (or words to that effect). They did however mention that there were a few coming yet to be announced.

Some of McGill's scenes and lines always crack me up. "Hope you catch him...catch him in hell!" That dance he does when he thinks he killed the boy, "I got him, I got him, I got him I got him I got him!"
Yeah, but they pretended to be Alice's parents. Why did he spend the whole third act in a gimp suit again?
I thought Perlman played Spenser. My mistake.

Perlman and Everett McGill were in Quest for Fire together. You couldn't find two actors more suited to playing prehistoric men!

Any one from "Leviathan" "Shocker" or "Fright Night Part 2" and i will be estactic. Sooner or later though i think they are gonna announce some released Arrow titles, which will be a bit of a disapointment to those who are region free though i would be happy for those who are not.

Id be up for those but I don't think Shocker is one of them. I think Fright Night II would be remarkable ! Since they have released some Anchor Bay titles...maybe we'll get Phantasm , the first and best IMO in the series !

"Phantasm" would be an massive announcement, one of my favourite films ever. The only thing i would say is that i think they would probably save that till comic-con or horrorhound, but you never know.

Phantasm is great. But is it as important as Ginger Snaps?

But I would die for that announcement. Especially because that would mean Phantasm 3&4 and Survival Quest are coming.
