Haven't seen it. But Lind is great in My Boyfriend's Back (one of the best WTF movies out there; from the director of Parents) and Class of 1999.

Love "My Boyfriends Back" remember when it was in fango under the title Johnny Zombie. Young Matthew Fox and Phillip Seymour Hoffman in that too.

Update: according to Scream Factory's post on its FB page, THE SENTINEL is not coming in 2014, though they said they tried to license it.

All this Phantasm talk. Does anyone know for sure if Anchor Bay lost the rights?
By the way, I might be in the minority, but I actually thought Phantasm 2 was better than the original. |

Phantasm's still listed on the Anchor Bay website, so until another company steps forward or Anchor Bay removes it, I tend to think they still have the rights. Last edited by zbinks; 02-22-2014 at 12:57 AM. |

I hope we have one more "left field" announcement, like The Final Terror , from Scream this year. By "left field", I mean an announcement that is not from a major studio, would be quite unexpected or almost forgotten, and has not had a decent release since the VHS days. I would love for Scream to pull The Prey out of their hat.
I'd also love Without Warning, or any film off my top ten wish list. I'd also do cartwheels for films like Funeral Home, Superstition, Rawhead Rex, almost any Code Red sub-license, or any obscure slasher film from the 70's or 80's. Last edited by Camp_Crystal_Lake; 02-22-2014 at 02:01 AM. |
