It's better. I like that the title is much sharper and shinier than before. To be honest, this would still have to be my least favorite customized cover art, I'm just not a huge fan of the overall design for this one.

This flick should be coming with a slipcover since it's a Collector's Edition so no fear there.

Yeah, the title is shinier, just like it appears on the film. Can't wait to hear the specs.

I concur with that....hopefully the tagline for the film will be seen. "The sequel with balls!" I can't wait for this release!!!! and the reversible cover art... bring it!!!

And this is why you should be glad they have reversible cover art.

Looks better. But I still wish they matched the font and/or cover style and add "Don Coscarelli's" on the top like Anchor Bay/Universal did for their Phantasm releases. But if Anchor Bay plans to release Phantasm I, III, and IV on Blu, maybe they can follow the cover style by Scream's example.

Oh absolutely, I actually switch all the covers to their original poster art since the slipcover has the new one shown already. The best of both worlds

Okay, follow-up question; has anyone who ordered either of the newly released titles from Shout Factory's site seen a shipping notice yet?

I have not...but then, no offense to Shout/Scream, but their shipping notification has always been a chink in the armor ... atleast in my experiences....

That's what I did with Halloween III... and my plan for Funhouse and They Live as well. Makes it easier to see both versions of the cover art.

It will be weird having Phantasm II on Blu-ray before the first movie.

Did Cliff ever confirm whether they'd be looking into made-for-TV stuff? If so, how about the other Belinda Balaski werewolf movie?

Hey, anything's possible...

Speaking of werewolves, how about the Werewolf TV series that Shout was originally going to release on DVD a few years ago?

Music clearance issues prevented it from coming to fruition. A real shame but maybe in the future.

Yeah I was seriously bummed out when that release never happened.
The artwork was very cool as well.

My Gf ordered both Terror Train and The Funhouse on October 5th using expedited shipping and has yet received them. They were a gift for my birthday so you can imagine how frustrated she is. Tried contacting Shout twice and no response.

Same here. I loved that show when I was a kid. I was really looking forward to the DVD release and then it just sort of disappeared from my Amazon wishlist. I hope the doors aren't closed forever on it.

I live so close to Best Buy's main warehouse. When I preorder items I usually get them about 3 days or sooner than the street dates. My 'Terror Train' and 'The Funhouse' blu-rays came 2 days ago and they look superb. The 'Terror Train' bd looks as good as I think it'll ever look. My big debacle is about 'They Live'. Best Buy hasn't put it up on their site yet, even though 'The Island' and 'Death Valley' have been up for weeks. Has anyone seen it on their site? I can't find it through a basic search or google products search. I love their free shipping and the fact that they're practically next door to me, but I'm so close to just getting it from Shout! - I don't really want to but I guess I'll have to sooner or later if Best Buy doesn't have it in at all.
