That would make a fine Shout release, but it would be as ridiculous as the movie itself for Scream to release it.

If a ninja possession movie qualifies as a Scream release, I don't see any reasonable objections to putting the label on Garbage Pail Kids. I haven't seen that movie in like 20 years and would love to revisit it. I have very vague memories of it. Does one of them use their snot to make clothes?

I havn't seen this in about 20 years, but can remember renting it all the time. I'd pick it up for sure. I could imagine Scream coming up with some awesome cover art for Garbage Pail Kids.

So. I had myself a triple feature last night:
-The King of Comedy: I decided recently that I had not seen enough Scorsese movies (only having seen Hugo, Wolf of Wall St., and Bringing Out the Dead). I rectified that by borrowing Shutter Island from a family member, buying the 4 Film Favorites DVD set (of which I have only gotten around to seeing GoodFellas and half of Mean Streets), and watching this on YouTube. And it was great. Why do people not regard this as one of the high points in both his and De Niro's career?
-The Hole 3D: Meh. Nothing was explored enough to make it interesting, and it wasn't psychological enough to make it scary. A severe lack of character development in the first half ruined this for me. Oh well. At least Burying the Ex seems promising.
-The Dungeonmaster: How is it that you fall asleep for ten minutes in an hour long movie and miss nothing whatsoever? Sucked.

I saw this and got mad at myself for getting the two sets that I did (Halloween/Prom Night & 8 Film Contemporary Cult Classics). This set includes Hellraiser 3-8, Halloween 6-8, Dracula 2000 1-3, The Prophecy 1-5, Prom Night 1-2, The Satanic Rites of Dracula, two movies I have never heard of (Blood Relic and The Key), and an episode of Ray Bradbury Theater.

Now I'm stuck with a copy of The Reflecting Skin. Awesome.

They did their job for the week. Three announcements of three highly requested titles.

2 announcements - Lord of Illusions wasn't supposed to be revealed until later in the year. Clive Barker took care of that. Regardless, yes, Shout has done their job for this week. Just one of those will be mine, though. Already have Motel Hell

Worse yet, this thread is filling up with DVD stuff...again.

How many times do the same folks need to be told this is a Blu-ray discussion thread?

The DVD stuff was purged once before. Do we really have to keep doing this?

Yes. God forbid that somebody post something DVD related every other month or so.

Your format-ism is appalling.

Next thing you know, you will be talking about segregating DVDs entirely.

It already happened. I was against it from the date of its conception.
