I wish they would do this with more of their releases that have multiple posters. For example I'd much rather have the mouth poster on the reverse for The Fun house than the one used.

I could be wrong, but I believe at the time Scream had said that the 'killer clown' art was more recognizable from the VHS era, which was why it was chosen. I also would have preferred the drooling mouth, and indeed have the Arrow poster of it up on a wall.

I'm not sure if anyone is interested in this, but I've noticed an Amazon Seller called ROUTE 66 has a few of the Scream Factory movie/poster titles up for sale. They're a bit buried when you do a search, but they're there.

I've seen these going for quite a bit online, so I thought I'd issue the heads up.

Not going to include a link -- not certain of the rules here (new poster!) -- but figured people here might want to know.

Question

When I preorder something from Scream/Shout Factory, do they charge my credit card immediately or when it ships out?

I wonder if Scream Factory will release the sequels to Slumber Party Massacre or not. I know they're not as good but I'd probably still pick them up.

That'll likely depend on the sales of the first one.

I hope they do, I hate that they keep doing incomplete franchises on blu-ray.
Psycho IV, Sleepaway Camp II & III, Etc.

I don't expect the Slumber party sequels to make it on blu. If it was going to happen then releasing them in a set with the original would have been the best chance.

How many people would even buy 2 and 3 on their own? A few hundred at best?

No, they will. It's just irritating that they didn't come out with the first one.

They said if the 1st blu-ray sells well, they'll do the sequels. And it will sell well, Slashers are the bestsellers by-far for them based on what I've heard.

I don't think that complete franchises are necessary, personally. Unless you are a completist. But lets face it, a lot of films within a series (specially within the horror genre) feature a lot of duds. For example, I don't really care about Ginger Snaps 2 or 3 and wouldn't care to have them on blu ray just because they happen to form a trilogy. The first Ginger Snaps is so brilliantly executed that they make the sequels look almost unwatchable. Therefore, that's the only one that needs to be on blu ray for me.
