Really excited to watch Sleepaway Camp when it comes out. Netflix has the sequels up now but hopefully there still up in May after the first is released.
Hellraiser III is great (my favorite of the sequels), imo (and has a very sizable fanbase). The first three are generally the ones that are considered the best. IV has it's fans too though, its pretty much a prequel with pinhead in space (I think... admittedly I haven't seen it in a while)... The rest are hit and miss. Revelations is the only one to really stay away from.

And have you seen Sleepaway Camp before? Hopefully, if you haven't, the ending hasn't already been spoiled for you.

Hellraiser and Hellraiser II are the only ones worth watching in my opinion. Also if I remember correctly the only ones to be made in Britain. III is where it starts going downhill.

The top three titles so far are probably Pumpkinhead, Candyman and Phantasm.

The poll is on page 2 of wishlist. Here's the votes.

I'm just glad that Halloween 6 Producers cut got a lot of votes. I really want it out. Same for Sleepaway Camp 2.

There are those who say III is "where it starts going down hill". But in retrospect it is LIGHTYEARS better than any after it. To me, the first three are perfection. (3 also has the CD Cenobite which I dig)

Yeah III may be a whole lot better than the sequels after that but to me it is a huge step down in quality from II. I and II work very well together and should have ended there.

I just feel like Hell On Earth gets lumped in with those other ones that are just dreadful way too often. It's underrated.

Anyway, Echo Bridge kills me. They still haven't issued 3 on blu-ray. If I'm not mistaken it's the only one that isn't available in the US yet. Same goes for Children of the Corn. No II: The Final Sacrifice (another horribly underrated sequel) and Revelations. Yet all of the others have been released? Out of order too.

They'll probably release them all together and make me buy all of the ones I already own, like they did to me with Prophecy and The Crow sequels.

Haven't seen Sleepaway Camp. Unfortunately, I think I know the twist. But, even knowing it, it can still come as a shock with the execution of it. That's what's most important to me.

I may watch Hellraiser III and then decide if I want to continue.

Hellraiser IV is indeed underrated. It is far from the best, but you get a lot of back story. Now after IV watch at your own risk because Pinhead is hardly in any of them but I did like Hellworld because of Henriksen.

That poll has titles that Scream will not be able to license ..but it was nice to see Without Warning get some good love...and Pumpkinhead is a big one

I have the first 4 Hellraiser movies..4 was the beginning of the end for me...5 was pretty awful so I gave up

So I never seen Pumpkinhead till the other night and I thought it was kind of meh. I wouldn't buy it if released on blu. I only mention this because it seems to be a highly requested title...I was a little let down. I kind of wish that pumpkinhead had a real pumpkin for a head

Thanks you, I put a lot of work into that poll, hoping more people would vote more often.

I know a lot of the titles, Scream can't license from, but still it's a wish list kind of deal, and if were to remove all the titles that Scream couldn't get, it would be a short list, (also remember Scream has denied getting movies and then announced them later in time,) also this is to see what is the "True title that gets the most requested", I do hope you keep on voting, also I still going though this thread looking over any titles that have been requested that I don't have in my list (or has been released very good on Blu-Ray ((Region A)), like Scorpion Releasing, Synaspe, Blue Underground, Kino, and so on) Also I would love people to help out with this poll, to make it better, anyways Keep on voting and thank you for your kind words

I still don't get the love that Pumpkinhead gets. Yeah, Henriksen was great in it, and his character had a strong arc, but the rest is just terrible to me. I didn't care about the family that helped him out, or the kids who killed his son, or the title character, who looked cool and that's it.

August is looking pretty packed now. We've got Dog Soldiers, Phantom of the Paradise, Motel Hell, Legend of Hell House, plus two others yet to be announced? Given that 3 of these will be collector's editions, it is a reasonable guess that the two mystery titles won't be - certainly not both of them anyway. I also wonder if they might be a double feature. Seems unlikely but six separate releases seems a lot for one month (though I notice we did get six releases in September 2013, including a double feature and four CE's). There is of course the possibility that something ends up being delayed.

The first four Hellraiser films are the best of the bunch. The other five sequels pale in comparison and like has been said, Pinhead isn't in them much. As far as I'm aware most of these were standalone thrillers and Dimension made the writers insert Pinhead in them to make them part of the Hellraiser franchise.

Let's see. Last September had Psycho II, Psycho III, Prince of Darkness, Day of the Dead, Cockneys Vs. Zombies, and the Scanners double. So six.

Only two of them were. Deader, IIRC, was based on a monster movie script, and Hellworld was based on a script by Joel Soisson called Dark Can't Breathe.

I only like the first two. Hell on Earth is a hilarious guilty pleasure sometimes, though.

I thought Inferno was a crappy demonic cop thriller before it became a Hellraiser sequel.

in my opinion this movie is all about the monster. yes, as a movie, it's no classic but the Pumkinhead creation is one of the best looking creatures in the past 30 years... the visuals of this movie are terrific and that's a big part of horror flicks....

I liked part 3 quite a bit better than Hellraiser II which I can still remember being very disappointed with at the theatre....

the rest of the sequels are mediocre at best....
