I agree, they should. It's no surprise that steelbooks, and exclusive packaging, sells out all over the world.
My goodness if Scream could start a line of exclusive steelbooks like Kimchi or Blufans, even Zavvi...there would be lines around the corner for them.

But I'd like them to continue with new art and the "Collector's Edition" banner... But for the sake of my sanity, please stop the slipcovers!
I'll take those slipcovers off your hands if you still have them.

You're throwing potential dollars in the trash too.

Should send them to recycle centers rather than the landfill.

In all honesty I do that so I can take them with me anywhere and not have to worry about the player. Granted this doesn't happen often but on that rare occassion I want to be prepared

IIRC, my region free Insignia player cost me like $40. I found out about it from this thread. There's other options also. Just have to check out the forum section there.

Default Have liked all the SF titles I've seen to some degree

Anyone have any films that they would highly recommend? So far I've seen Prince of Darkness, Halloween 2/3, They Live, The Fog, Lifeforce, Assault on Precinct 13, Darkman, Sleepaway Camp, Terror Train, The Burning, From Beyond, and Body Bags. Out of those my favorites were PoD, Halloween 2, They Live, The Fog, and Terror Train if thats any help.

Hmm. Swamp Thing, Lifeforce, Phantasm 2 (see the first before this one), Ravenous, Phantom of the Paradise, TerrorVision, Abominable Dr. Phibes, Cat People, Night of the Comet, Night of the Demons, and Day of the Dead.

Do they have to be scream releases? Didn't know sleepaway camp had been released. I have that on preorder but thought it had a release date in may.

If it is just scream. I have The Island and also They Nest. You may like those?

Phantasm 2 is awesome, but then I like all four and its a shame they only bothered to randomly release part 2.

They didn't "only bother to randomly release part 2." That was the only one made available to them, as it is owned by Universal. 1,3,&4 are currently licensed to Anchor Bay through Coscarelli, although maybe not the first anymore.

Same here... I ordered mine from Amazon last September and didn't get one either. It's my only release so far to not have a slip with it. Bestbuy.com came through on like 4 of the original releases though last fall. All had slips with them.

Pretty sure the Halloween 3 in my local Hastings has a slip. If someone was desperate enough, they could paypal the cost + shipping for me to send it to them

Since everyone's talking about the cover slips, does anyone know if Prince of Darkness has one? Mine didn't come with it and I can't find any picture of a copy that includes it.

Not as much of a 'they only bothered' as much as they can only license titles that are available (and make a deal for) and not already with another company.
