I don't see this posted here, but it looks like the announcement will be fairly early tomorrow. 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EST / 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM PST.

This needs to happen from someone. I don't care who.

Pumpkinhead is great and I'd love to see it upgraded to Blu but it feels too small for a big reveal. Kinda feel the same way about the Godzilla movies, mainly because it doesn't fit in with Shout's filmography so far. Just my two cents
How doesn't it? If you're speaking of scream factory then yes, but shout released six Gamera movies which is certainly the same filmography as Godzilla.

Then again Scream did release Best of Hollow Mountain.

Pumpkinhead is a bad movie IMO. It's not scary, nor funny. It's not even a horror, more like a fantasy flick. Squirm sounds even worse. I'm hoping for a blu release of Night of the Living Dead (1968).

imo they're a hell of a lot better than some of the other wishlist titles here...

John Carpenter's Vampires-- one of Carpenter's first big disappointments--all of his style and atmosphere replaced with gore and crude attempts at humor

Fright Night II-- a barely released and mediocre sequel redeemed only by the presence of Roddy McDowell... Julie Carmen and her posse of freak vampires were pathetic

The People Under The Stairs-- one of Craven's worst flicks... a big bore with nothing to enjoy save for a few fun moments with the nutty brother and sister nutcases...

How's it not horror. It has a Monster and a Witch in it. It's kind of a dark fairy tale much like Company of Wolves and Snow White: A Tale of Terror.

I do agree it's not really scary, but I found it to be a fun flick.

I would love to see Scream! release Night of the Living Dead, but it's not going to happen.

Scream Factory said that they would not do any public domain titles like Night of the Living Dead because any work that they would put into a new transfer or loseless audio could be taken by another company. They said that they don't want to put all that work into something that could be taken so easily.

Also, to whoever said that Vampires (1998) was Carpenter's first big disappointment has not seen Village of the Damned or Escape From L.A. Vampires was actually a pretty good movie. I liked it more than some of the other turds that Carpenter put out in the 90's.

I said that Vampires was one of his first big disappointments and it is. I do agree that Escape From LA was weak as well.
I know Village Of The Damned was not well received but it still had a lot of Carpenter's trademark directorial qualities so I enjoyed it more than the titles above.

Stigmata and/or Slither would be interesting possibilities. But I'd be most excited for a Tales from the crypt Demon knight/Bordello of blood double feature bombshell.

I agree... I'd take Village of the Damned any day of the week over the other 2 mentioned titles.

Idk about any licenses involved but 2 movies that deserve the SF treatment IMO are The Thing and In the Mouth of Madness

I feel this must be said again: no Universal titles will be announced.
