From Beyond was announced as a biggie, but that's been OOP for a while now and was only first released on DVD in 2007. The other films had never been released to DVD by MGM before.

I think (hope) Phibes is in the mix, but I think it's going to be a while before we start seeing the Vincent Price movies getting announced, not while there are plenty of OOP titles out there. I have a feeling about a Price boxset, and the Phibes films would likely be a big selling point.
I gotcha now, I totally understand where your coming from. A Price box set would be really epic if it ever happened. I'm sure that would be a great seller.

Any chance there is someone that is a fan of, or would have interest in, Killer Party (1986)?

That thing has been sitting there for a penny shipped since the weekend waiting for a good home.

It's a glitch. When you try to process the order from Red Tag Market you get the following message.

Some items are no longer available
We're sorry. Some items became unavailable after you added them to your shopping cart. Click here to return to the product detail page and try another seller.
Some of the other sellers had been matching the Red Tag Market price, but many have been cancelling the orders.

All that said, it's a Warner Archive MOD disc which means it's probably not available to be licensed to Shout! Factory.

Makes sense. I never tried to order not having interest in it.

Sorry about that.

Is it Slugs or Squirm that has a gardeners face eaten off his skull and exploding houses?

Burnt Offerings could definitely use an upgrade in the A/V department. It's not a high priority of mine, but this is a film that could highly benefit from a proper HD transfer. I have no idea what it should look like, but I can't imagine the DVD looks right. I have a feeling that MGM's DVD may have been sourced from PAL video elements as there was significant ghosting throughout and at times feels like you're watching a film with a layer of mayonnaise smeared across the lens.

Maybe the announcement will give us an Oliver Reed double-bill of The Brood and Burnt Offerings? Separate releases of course.

Hmm, maybe...

Grave of the Vampire or Blacula

I'd guess... Burnt Offerings and Food of the Gods.
Burnt Offerings was awesome to me, Karen Black and Oliver Reed were excellent.

Love to see Trilogy of Terror on blu as well!

Thumbs up

Another Friday, another day of hope...

Please let it be Night of the Comet and TerrorVision!

edit: never mind. The facebook page says both movies are from the 70s... which has already been covered if I bothered to read back. Another day of dashed dreams

I'm happy with my MOD Incredible Melting Man, unless it's got extra footage. Both a pass from me. Hoping to get another title previously unreleased on DVD next week, like Cellar Dweller or Ghost Town, though good editions of The Horrow Show or Without Warning would also be great.

"He seems to be getting stronger as he melts!"

Must buy...

Not feeling Vampire Lovers though. It's impressive that since they started these announcements on Fridays, there hasn't been a single wee where there wasn't at least 1 interesting title.

Ok, today was an exciting announcement. The Vampire Lovers!

With the Synapse Countess Dracula next year and this, I can chuck my MGM dvd.

I know it's been poo pooed by Cliff, but I'd really like to see the Corman Poe films on Blu. That would be awesome.
