I think "Horror Hotel" aka "City of the Dead" (which is the consesus on a preffered title for the film) would be a great movie for Scream! Factory to get their hands on. Its a Public Domain film, but if Arrow Films was brave enough to touch it then why not Shout! Especially since a remake is on the way under the title "City of the Dead". Its a phenomenal film.
City Of The Dead is a fantastic little film. The director, John Llewellyn Moxey also made my favorite made for TV horror, The Night Stalker.

Yeah, the SF slips don't seem to fare too well during transit. Those slips seem to use a less rigid cardboard which is more prone to damage. I was just thinking I might have to start picking up the titles locally if I can find them.

My most recent order had two SF titles shipped with five other titles in a cardboard box. All the slips for the other title arrived just fine but the SF slips were beat to hell. Looked like they were placed into a tumbler. Made me wonder if they were like that prior to shipping and if so, why?

God knows this territory and some of these titles have been covered but I'm not paging through almost 130 pages of wish lists and rumors.

I know what studio has these titles, I'm simply wondering if effort is being made to acquire them and give them a special edition treatment or if they may already be in the early stages?

"The Burning."
"Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead."
"Clownhouse" although we may not be able to get people to speak out on it.
"Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III."
"Fire In The Sky."
"Leprechaun" only the original, no matter how doubtful.
"The Fog."
"Hellraiser III: Hell On Earth" (Unrated).
"Prince of Darkness."
"Hellbound: Hellraiser II" I know there's a blu-ray version out there but, it's garbage.
"Tales from the Darkside: The Movie."

Oh, and by the way, very very pleased with the "From Beyond" announcement. No matter what you put out from here on out, you've earned the very hard to earn respect of the horror community. Hats off to you, "Scream/Shout! Factory" is easily the goto studio for cult classics and a studio that cares and listens to it's buyer's feedback.

Hah it sure was a gooey movie. I did watch it earlier and just finished The Vampire Lovers a little bit ago. To my surprise I ended up liking The Vampire Lovers more then TIMM.

That would be nice. I'd definitely be in for New Year's Evil.

Count me in as well! That might be my most desirable MGM MOD to make the leap to a Scream Factory Blu-ray.

I completely agree. That's really one of the only MODs from MGM that I desired but wasn't willing to shell out the cash for a featurless dvd. I really want that blu-ray! Lol.

It comes down to if SF thinks it will sell enough. I hope they do take a look at some black and white classics.
I agree and apparently others do to, but a nice feature would be to have the option to interchange between the technicolor version and the black-and-white version. There some cheap dvd that has the color version on it, its not amazing but its different.

"Tales from the Darkside: The Movie"
•'The Burning' is MGM, so its most likely coming as part of their deal with them.
•'Phantasm 3' is Anchor Bay, so probably not any time soon or at all.
•'Clownhouse' is MGM, but its highly controversial, yet its still a maybe.
•'Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3' is warner, they rarely liscense films out to other companies. Best bet would be to hope they put it out along with the original in 2013 to coincide with 'Texas Chainsaw 3D's January release.
•'Fire in the Sky' is Paramount. Maybe Warner has liscenced it from them for a potential upcoming release.
•'Leprechaun' is Lionsgate, I doubt they can do a deal with Lionsgate as they are a competitor in the cult movie genre.
•'Fog' is MGM and I'm almost certain its part of their deal with them.
•'Hellraiser 3' is Paramount but Echo Bridge currently has liscense of the films. Also Miramax may have stake in the home video release also.
•'Prince of Darkness' is Universal and they are possible making a deal with them to get more films and if so I think it'll be on that slate.
•'Hellbound: Hellraiser part II' is with Image, who liscensed it and won't be giving up a "biggie" title like that, or any other really.
•'Tales from the Darkside: the movie' is Paramount. They just liscenced a ton of movie to Warner. Best bet is that this will come through Warner.

Whew!...

im not into colorized B&W films and prefer them to be seen how they were originally intended
I do love films for a color sequence ( Flesh Eaters, Phantom of the Opera) however

Understandable. Most don't look amazing. 'City of the Dead' looks okay-ish, and two colorized films that look pretty nice are 'the Giant Gilla Monster' & 'the Killer Shrews'. The rest aren't very appealing, except in their B&W forme.

Thank you so much for the reply!

I'm sorry, I totally misread an earlier post. I did not mean to say you had said something you hadn't regarding TerrorVision!

On an unrelated note, I watched Halloween III on Blu-ray for the first time last night. Not only did it look and sound great, it was a great blind buy (not sure how I went so long without ever seeing it!).
