Hey, I was curious. How is Scream Factory's shipping when you order from thee site? I usually order elsewhere like amazon but I ordered from them for the first time with Final Exam since they had those deals. Should I expect it around release day or a little later?

Depends, most of the time I got it around the release date. Once I got it quite a bit beforehand.

I usually received pre-orders a day or two after release, but occasionally they'd arrive a day early (and sometimes several days late!). They use terribly flimsy packaging (despite charging a premium for shipping), so often orders would arrive with slipcovers dinged or posters slightly bent.

This was my experience with Biehn as well. He looked surly as hell but I asked him something about Tombstone and he didn't seem to mind giving me a real answer.

(I had asked about a Kurt Russell interview where Russell said there was tons of footage cut out that he was going to assemble into a huge new version of the film, but Biehn said that was bs, the only footage unseen was more or less the same scenes as in the movie, but as directed by the original director who left mid-shoot).

Hahaha! What a righteous Googling. Sadly, I had to stop driving around listening to Wicker Man. All the potholes scratch the bejesus out of my records.

**EXTRAS REVEALED on THE FINAL TERROR***

We start our 4-month "Summer of Fear" celebration by revealing today the extras for one of our titles within it: THE FINAL TERROR--on DVD & Blu-ray for the first time!

• New Audio Commentary with director Andrew Davis
• New interviews with actors Adrian Zmed and Lewis Smith, Post Production Supervisor Allan Holzman and composer Susan Justin
• Original Theatrical Trailer

This release was a challenge for us to execute. All of the original film elements (negative and inter-positive) were lost and we searched for them for months. In order to create this new HD transfer, we sourced five film prints from collectors and used the best reels. The film looks better than ever (considerably more than its VHS release, of course) but we do feel it is important to disclose that there is some mild discoloring during reel 2. We have done everything possible to minimize it (for some viewers, it will barely be noticeable) but wanted to communicate it all the same beforehand and know that we did the best we could with what we had to work with.

Sleepaway Camp and Death Spa are getting released the same day! (And also Dan Curtis' Dracula)

Btw. Does anyone have an unwanted slipcover for Cat People? I need that slip badly!

You managed to receive a copy of CP that didn't have a slip?

Extras look good, but I'm most excited about getting to see this film on something besides a rental quality VHS for the first time ever.

Yeah really. Even having to use 5 prints as a source for the master, you'd think this would still look pretty good compared to what we are used to. July can't get here quick enough.

Someone push the FF button on life for 2 months exactly, please.

I'm too lazy to go back and search but someone who posts on these forums was claiming Shout had access to a pristine print and said that's what they were using. I guess it was just someone talking out of their rear end. Regardless, this film will finally be viewable and that's more than good enough for me.

I think that claim originated with these posts.

I also posted this in the 80s Slasher thread, but thought you guys might want to know:

Rumor has it the Legend Films release of Student Bodies / Jekyl and Hyde, Together Again is going OOP today (along with all of their other Paramount-owned titles).

So do yourself an amazing favor and pick 'em up ASAP. The latter sucks, but Student Bodies is a-freakin-mazing and hilarious.

Been putting buying this off forever, guess it's time to fork over the cash, thanks for the heads up!
