I know tomorrow's announcement won't be this movie, but it would be a fun release if Scream announced Primal Rage. An Italian 28 Days Later on a college campus.

I'm looking forward to this as well. I remember TNT/TBS playing this a lot in the 90's. Was it a part of Joe Bob Briggs' monster vision? I can't remember. If so, how cool would it be to get those old introductions and bumpers as special features. It'd be great to have them offered via seamless branching for what would essentially be an uncut TV version.

Aside from Thief and the Cobbler, none that come to mind.

I'll take a stab at Shout's 'F13 announcement'. I figure it's probably gonna be an MGM title, since they still have a bunch of horror stuff waiting to hit BD.

Monkey Shines (1988)
Dark Half, The (1993)
Dolls (1987)
I, Madman (1989)
Burnt Offerings (1976)

Scream said Burnt Offerings was with another company, and Twilight Time say it isn't them, so that only really leaves Kino.

Oh, my bad. I would say Squirm (1976), but isn't MGM losing the rights or something? I guess I'll go with something newer.

I think the Squirm rights issue might only have been applicable to the UK. I'm not sure though.

MGM only have the rights to Squirm for a few more years, not too sure if that is only in the UK.

Is there any chance scream factory can put out a bluray of "The Hidden", or is that a no go?

I believe The Hidden is with Warner Bros.. If so, I believe Warner has a no sub license policy at this moment. So, I'd say it would be a no go at this moment in time.

I think it's going to be Dolls or Scarecrows. I would be happy with either. Then again, they may save those for Comic Con. Either way I'm pretty confident they are coming this Fall along with a second Price collection.

I'd love Dolls or Scarecrows. I think both are very fun films that I'd love to upgrade from DVD. It would also be great if they pulled Madman or The Prey out of the Scream Factory magical hat. It would be apropos on Friday the 13th to announce some camping slashers.

By the way, I subscribe to your Podcast. I really enjoyed the Demons series retrospective.

If it's one of these two I hope it's Scarecrows. MGM announced a special edition back in 2007 only to pull the extras at the last minute. The DVD looked very nice, though. Dolls is already out from 101 Films.

Madman would be great, but I heard the owner of that film likes things his way or no way, including what extras are included, how it's packaged, etc. That's why Code Red's release is interlaced and with the wrong colour correction. He just wants a company to take what he has made and release it. That and he is apparently holding the Blu-ray rights hostage until the remake hits, which sounds like it's pretty far off.

As for the The Prey, I haven't seen it, but have heard great things.

I would be down with either of those choices though. Something not from MGM's catalog and completely out of nowhere would be a nice surprise!

I'd like to see an episode devoted to forgotten or under appreciated horror. You could tie it into the recent Scream Blu Ray releases of The Final Terror, Deadly Eyes, and other Blu Ray releases from other labels. We have plenty of under appreciated gems coming our way from several labels.

Not from them. Possibly from Image. This October, they are releasing a DVD double of 1&2. That leaves the possibility for a BD double, I guess.
