The New Titles are up for the Summer of Fear!

-Witchboard
-Night of the Comet
-Prison
-Saturn 3
-Scanners II/Scanners III
-TV Terrors (DVD) (Initiation of Sarah/Are You in the House Alone)

Edit: And I just ordered Witchboard and The Funhouse, snagging me another set of coasters and bringing my Scream Factory total up to 21 releases.

If you missed out on the recent B&N 40% off sale or some of the "six pack" sales, select Scream Factory BDs can currently be had for just under $16 at DVDplanet.com. The following are currently on sale for around $17.50 and you can take another 10% off the price of these 7 titles by using the code DVDP614:

- Night of the Comet
- Night of the Demons
- Halloween III
- Body Bags
- Prince of Darkness
- They Live
- Saturn III

They have some other titles supposedly "on sale", but during checkout the sales prices don't show up. I tried to order CRAWLSPACE, NIGHT OF THE DEMONS, and THE HORROR SHOW - and all three failed to give the sale price. The 6-pack titles do give the discount rates, but none of the others do. Way to run a professional sale, Scream.

The titles you listed were on sale last week.

Thanks, yes I figured this out shortly after I posted. Apologies to Scream. I had googled their Summer of Fear to see the titles on sale and last week's page was still active and popped up as well. Maybe they should kill that page, or maybe I should pay more attention. Completely missed last week's titles.

I know, it's one of my weird blu ray quirks. I like everything to be as uniform as possible. I have a few UK titles and it really bugs me that they look so obviously oversized in comparison. It is a clear case of disregarding potentially the better product for a domestic blu ray and I know it doesn't make sense. I dunno what my problem is, but I am what I am I guess

I look at is as being in my best interest not to import. If I were allow myself to be ok with it, my wallet would suffer tremendously with impulsively being over seas titles.

If it makes any difference, the Happinet disc is in a US-sized, 12mm (black!) case.

I've been gone for a week dealing with cancer related issues (I'm now penciled in for surgery in September which MIGHT cure me).

This is my first day back on the forum and I'm thrilled to see a second volume of Vincent Price films. I think the choice of flicks for this second batch is even better than the selection for Volume One. THE LAST MAN ON EARTH is one of the creepiest quasi-zombie films ever made and I never expected to see it on BD in this region. Great choices all around.

So sorry to hear about your ailment. I wish you the best of luck with your upcoming surgery, and a speedy recovery.

Soo.......is it good because it's good or because you grew up watching it and love it for nostalgia purposes?

Squirm! YES!

That only leaves Deranged, since Motel Hell is already heading down the pike.

both for me.... it's a low budget flick with less than stellar acting but it creates a very effective mood and feeling of dread. The same director made BLUE SUNSHINE and JUST BEFORE DAWN... which were also very creepy

I love Just Before Dawn and that connection is really the only thing that is making me want to seek out Squirm.

with the announcement of Squirm, I've removed it from the List, Here are the Ranks for Squirm in each list.

Wishlist: 20th
Realistic List: 21st

Remarkable how different each one was, anyways I'm happy for this surprise announcement and hope for more to come, and don't forget to vote
