That would really be the best scenario, but you know they're not going to do that. I know we can always flip the reversible covers to have the original poster art showing, but the outer slipcovers with the newly commissioned floating heads are still the art you see the most. Much rather have the original poster art on the outer slip as well, but this has been discussed ad nauseum and nothing's going to change unfortunately.

My local Hastings seem to have cut way back on their Scream titles as well. I'm not sure what's going on.

USA Scream Titles

The Best Buy in my area carries some of the Scream Titles, but not all. When does the Squirm Blu-ray come out? I just got Prison and Body Bags and plan on getting Prince of Darkness. I have pre-ordered Pumpkinhead 1 & 2 and the Halloween collection. I can't wait....

I managed to snag:

Body Bags $15.77
Prince of Darkness $15.74
Night of the Comet $15.77
Sleepaway Camp $17.55

on DVD Planet's website using the code "DVDP614" 10% off (provided by user Clark Kent in a different thread).

The code doesn't work for every Scream Factory release (it only worked on Body Bags, Prince of Darkness & Night of the Comet), but regardless, it gave me $1.75 off each of the 3 titles I mentioned.

Just a heads up in case anyone else wants to grab these for a decent price!

So I just finished watching Sorority House Massacre II for the first time a few minutes ago and I really REALLY hope Scream Factory has plans on releasing this film on Blu ray. It was without a doubt one of the most fun films I've watched in a long time. The acting is bad, and the budget is none existent, but it's definitely a so bad it's good film. I found it FAR more enjoyable than any of the Slumber Party Massacre films (Which i don't mind) and plays as a fantastic sequel to the original Slumber Party Massacre. A Sorority House Massacre/Sorority House Massacre II Combo Pack would be a Day one purchase for me for sure.

Seeing as how it's a Corman film, Shout/Scream should already have access to it, hopefully the elements/transfer are in decent enough shape to warrant a release on Blu ray this year/next year.

Scorpion is releasing the first Sorority House Massacre so a double feature of the first and second is unlikely. Not sure who owns the second one.

I watched the first on Netflix and didn't like it. Been meaning to watch II. Might do that tonight or tomorrow.

Interesting, I wasn't aware that the first one was coming out, so thanks for that info. I haven't watched the first, but based on what I've read, the 2nd film seems to be the more enjoyable of the 2. I certainly thought it was a lot of fun.

I'll toss out a vote for Sorority House Massacre 2 too!!!

I actually don't like the first one but I did like the second one.

Since we are talking about this, someone will have to get "Hard to Die" too (Sorority House Massacre 3). Hard to Die features some of the same actresses as Sorority House Massacre 2 and is even more ridiculous. They try to use machine guns and s888 to stop the killer.

I liked both Sorority House Massacre 2 and Hard to Die when I was about 13 years old.

I'd buy both.

Sorority House Massacre '86 I'd pass on because I didn't like it but that's already coming out as previously stated by the above poster.

"Hard to Die" is a doozy of a film! Lots of gratuitous showering in that film as I recall lol

I can't say for sure.. maybe someone else can confirm. Did Bill from Code Red mention either that the original materials for Hard to Die were gone or they were in really really poor shape? I could be wrong, and hope I am.

Bill inquired about the film and was told the original sound elements are lost. A few people suggested the possibility of taking the audio from the OOP dvd and using that for a potential Blu-ray.

So I've got a question for y'all: How many of you store your Scream Factory Blu's in their slipcover vs. removing the slipcover and storing it elsewhere? (Presumably to keep it safe.) I've removed all mine because I figured the potential for them getting dinged on the shelf might drive me crazy, but they do look awfully nice all lined up...

Not to turn things back towards full-out slipcover discussion...
