Critters and ROTLD have some with Warner, so not unless it's limited. ROTLD 3-5 are Lionsgate too. Children of the Corn 1 is out of the question, but the rest could be a set.

The likeliest is The Howling, as they have 1,3,5&6 already. 2 is open to them through MGM. 4 is one they could sublicense, like Synapse did with Curtains and Prom Night. Who even knows where 7 is at, but honestly, who cares? It is Padding: The Movie, and the likelihood of it having good film elements are slim to none.

RotLD II and III are Warner and Lionsgate, respectively. Most likely to happen out of that bunch are the Sleepaway Camp sequels (which would be fantastic).

I would love to Sleepaway Camp II and III myself. Those are pretty high on my horror wish list.

I admit the comic con announcements last year was pretty meh but as it turned out Cat People was a movie I liked so it wasnt a total ho hum.
Im not sure what we can expect at this years comic con, but I would guess probably the tail end of current deals. Maybe we can get some more MGM Midnight movies like Frogs, Empire of the Ants or Tentacles ..Invaders from Mars would be primo though.. the Fly II comes to mind as well..
They are always working on deals so maybe we could get a big surprise or something....
I could see a double of Empire of the Ants and Food of the Gods. A CE of The Fly II would work well with me (perhaps finish off the original series as a bonus feature?). Invaders from Mars is vastly underrated, as is Spontaneous Combustion (which I would love if they could make another Code Red deal).

There are undoubtedly a bunch of films that could be made into double features... but Scream Specifically stated they were working on another box set.. So whatever that is, it has to include more than 2 films. The director set idea is an interesting one, and one I hadn't considered before. Could a Stephen King Collection work?

I could throw out some other guesses for title announcements, but that's not my intent... merely that I expect more info on the mystery box set.
Hellraiser would be a nice set but my guess and hopes are for a PHANTASM collection including all 5 films.

That seems to be the safe bet at this point. I'd certainly jump on it right away. Candyman still seems plausible to me given the recent Clive Barker connection and the new willingness by certain studios to partner up. The Omen would be interesting if it left out the 2006 remake, and instead included the 3 theatrical films along with the tv sequel, though that's dependent on a deal with Fox.

Perhaps something completely different is in order though? Maybe a Ju-On set, or another foreign horror set? It'd be fantastic if they secured the rights for the [REC] Series of films, despite the fact I already own 1 - 3. A foreign horror box set would be really interesting as well if it included films without a US Release. Martyrs, Ringu, Ju-on, [Rec], Audition (Finally moving it into the Scream Lineup instead of a Shout title), Irreversible, etc.

Lastly, what about Full Moon titles? 88 Films had many of the Full moon stuff overseas, and checking out the Full Moon site many of its titles are no longer offered. (The first puppet master individually, Subspecies or it's Box Set). Never mind the fact that The Rest of the Puppet Master films haven't seen a release nor many of the other films.

I'd jump for Full Moon, myself.
All the Ringus are with WB now. Candyman 3 is Lionsgate, and Fox already has a complete Omen set.

As for director sets, who would fit? Wes Craven fits the one title from Miramax example (Cursed), as does David Cronenberg (eXistenZ). Perhaps a Dean Koontz set with Phantoms, Whispers (in a deal with Scorpion), Hideaway, and Servants of Twilight?

What did anyone think of X-Ray, Schizoid, Terror Vision, and The Video Dead? Haven't seen any of them.

If you love 80's cheese Terrorvision is the ultimate 7-cheese Quesadilla.
Video dead is a fun zombie flick. Haven't seen the other two so can't comment on them.

I liked Xray and Schizoid but they arent great films or well made..cheesy but still fun and if you like horror you should see them. I think TerrorVision sucked quite honestly, too much tongue in cheek..

Code Red is doing a blu ray Spontaneous Combustion. Food of the Gods makes sense too. I think that box set might be more themed based than a series of movies with sequels..maybe a movie with the same actor or director a la Vincent Price.. but we'll see

Part of me would love it if they licensed Son of Godzilla, Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla and then licensed Godzilla vs Biollante for a box set

Invaders From Mars is coming out in Germany in September. One regular edition and one special edition that includes the original film on DVD.

I really would like a BD of ROTLD. But he has said since the second sight disc they don't want to do a Blu-Ray for it. Which I think is ridiculous because I want a region A disc better than the MGM release with some new features like behind the scenes with Tarman or something.

Did they really say they won't do it because of the Second Sight release? Then why are they reissuing Squirm, Motel Hell and anything else that Arrow has also released? I think a stateside edition of ROTLD would be most welcome, especially if any of the workprint footage can be used (if available). If anything, a Shout edition of ROTLD would probably be one of their top sellers. The film is hugely popular.

More or less.

The UK Blu-ray of the first film was so well done that I can't see doing a new version here in the states.

I think it was last year they said it. From what I remember because the features on that BD is the best ROTLD can ever have.

I have a question to pose to WB about Scream Factory... Why have it be a limited release or none scenario? Why not just go the Anchor Bay route and go splitsies? Just imagine all the good it could do.
-Deadly Friend (Theatrical Cut & Original Cut)
-Creepshow Deluxe Edition
-Twilight Zone- The Movie (with features with George Miller & Joe Dante)
-Leatherface: TCM 3 CE
-Jason Goes to Hell: Unrated Cut
-Cat's Eye
-Tales from the Darkside: The Movie
-Silver Bullet
-The Dead Zone
