That is a nice list, but does anyone think we will get more MGM Movies announced next week... some of them seem to fit their brand
Invaders from Mars
Empire of the Ants
Food of the Gods
Tentacles
From A Whisper to A Scream
Burnt Offerings
Are these possible ?

Yep, those are all possible, but remember Kino is taking a big piece of the MGM pie. Who knows what they got, from what i can tell Kino has the rest of the MGM titles (its an exageration, but it feels like Kino is making announcements every other day!).

This list would make me sad... I can handle 1 or maybe 2 of these titles at Comic-Con as long as plenty from the other list were to show up, but really none of these are worth the extra hype a visit to comic-con gets. I'm not saying they're not worth releasing, but I am saying that these titles fail to live up to the hype/expectations a panel/booth at Comic-Con gets. These titles fit much better into the... "SURPRISE TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT" style of random announcements, and are better suited for the winter when horror titles are at a minimum.

If you're going to Comic-Con to announce titles coming out around Halloween, I want the Heavy Hitters, not the obscure.

Maybe that's for the best? Perhaps Kino will do things that SF said they won't, like Howling 2 or TV movies.

Unfortunately I'm not too knowledgeable on who holds the rights to which film, so I can't guess which films they're going to announce. However, some films on my wish list include:

-Shadow of the Vampire
-John Carpenter's Vampires
-Curse of the Demon
-Village of the Damned (original)
-Wait Until Dark
-Dead Alive (re-release)
-Peeping Tom
-Fido
-Horror of Dracula
-The Devils
-Burnt Offerings
-It's Alive
-The Tenant
-The Man Who Laughs
-The Black Cat
-Phantasm
-Werewolf of London
-Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man
-Night Creatures
-The House That Dripped Blood
-Asylum
-Candyman
-The Serpent and the Rainbow
-The Burbs
-Bordello of Blood
-Alice, Sweet Alice
-Let's Scare Jessica to Death
-Blood and Black Lace
-The Brood
-The Beyond
-Cannibal Ferox
-Don't Look Now
-The Changeling
-The Dead Zone
-The Sentinel
-Freaks
-Play Misty for Me

From that list, there are UK discs of Peeping Tom, The Burbs, Candyman (though I believe region-free, it has no extras and the transfer is an average one) and Night Creatures, although the latter is interlaced. There is also a French disc of Curse/Night of the Demon. Finally, there is a dreadful UK disc of Don't Look Now, although it has been rumored as a Criterion release due to a photo posted on their Facebook of a Criterion staffer(?) examining a frame from the film on their monitor.

The Brood (Criterion)
The Beyond and Cannibal Ferox (both are coming from Grindhouse)
Don't Look Now (likely Criterion)
Freaks (Warner)
The Tenant (Definitely not with WB)

and In the Company of Wolves is with Hen's Tooth.

Also, Peeping Tom isn't with Criterion any more. It's OOP.

Didn't they announce Saturn 3, Cat People, Darkman, Eve of Destruction last year ? I think Im missing one or two here..
Are those considered heavy hitters ? Maybe Darkman could be since that is mainstream to a certain degree..

Watched Sleepaway Camp for the first time. Really good, totally get why it's got a strong following.

I knew about the ending, but wow how shocking...the face that look will be burnt into the memory banks. Watched the interviews and was
[Show spoiler]surprised it was a mask, such good effects. The eyes. Unreal

[Show spoiler]I knew the ending which was the famous scene but had no knowledge who, although it was obvious. But what threw me from being certain was the aunt. Until the interviews after the film I would swear that was a guy

Want 2&3 now

I was disappointed with Last years announcements which is why I'm hoping for better titles for the announcement this year. Nightbreed was exciting for most people, and Cat People was reasonable, but the rest of those titles left a lot to be desired (for me at least). Honestly I'm surprised the Halloween announcement wasn't saved for Comic-Con. That's the kind of Bomb shell that should have been saved for a Convention or major venue as it would have stole the show. My idea of Major announcements are for titles that people have been clamoring for, and are mostly well known by main stream audiences. I admit That get's harder and harder with each year, but I believe a Phantasm announcement, Hellraiser 3, any of the Candyman's, or any number of Universal releases would make a satisfactory splash.

Maybe:

8)Wes Craven's Shocker (From Universal) to be released in 2015

9)John Carpenter's Village Of The Damned (From Universal) to be released in 2015

10)Tales From The Crypt's Demon Knight (From Universal) to be released in 2015

11)Tales From The Crypt's Bordello Of Blood (From Universal) to be released in 2015

12)Candyman 2 (From MGM)

13)The Tripper (From Fox)

14)From Hell Collector's Edition (From Fox)

These are just guesses, but Shout has now earned legendary status for being able to have dealings with : Warner Bros, Morgan Creek, Miramax, Anchor Bay & The Weinstein Co.

So anything can happen!

now lets hope they can get to Lionsgate (Fright Night Part 2) & Brian Yusna (Society)!!

Has it been confirmed that Lionsgate has the rights to Fright Night Part 2?

I'm hoping Tales From The Crypt Demon Knight as well as Fright Night Part 2 will be announced. That would be awesome.
But, a title I really hope eventually gets released on Blu-ray one day is Project: Metalbeast
