I think Dolls and Invaders from Mars are for sure on the list.

If they do announce some modern titles I hope people saying Animal are correct, also if they'd release May...oh boy, I'd be even more excited for that than Ginger Snaps!
I know May is with Lionsgate, but there has been some overlapping with the Halloween movies between them and Lionsgate, I wonder if maybe they are able to make some deals with Lionsgate now.
There'd be dozens and more movies they could acquire from them.

Silent Madness and The Mutilator, I wish! Hell Night would be awesome too.

I'll be ecstatic over any 80s slasher they release.

Does anyone think that Scream Factory can acquire the rights to Brian Yuzna's Society from 1989? Always hoped that the film could get a great treatment on blu-ray.

American Gothic (1988)
Yes the Poughkeepsie tapes please!!
I've been wanting to see that since 2007. I remember showing clips of it to people right around when the Halloween remake came out.
I had acquired a version that was very low quality a few years ago and when I tried to watch it the video was cutting in and out (no not part of the film) so I just skipped it hoping one day it would come out.
And now that it will be in DirectTV soon, I'm sure a release is around the corner somewhere.

They licensed the Halloween movies from Miramax, not Lionsgate.

Or maybe they will shock the world and announce...

The Freeway Maniac!!

A Cannon double feature of The Freeway Maniac and New Year's Evil wouldn't be a bad idea, you know.

You know what I mistook 12 Monkeys for Monkey Shines... I got my Monkey movies mixed up ! Time for a spanking !

Sugar Hill would be great if Scream got that movie..but if not maybe one of the other studios could get it
Cats Eye is with Warner so I know that isn't going to happen..it seems Warner isn't licensing to Scream or anyone else for that matter. Plus there is now that story of their big comeback in 2015...

This is not an out of this world request. Mr. Yuzna has the rights so , its up to Cliff & Co if they want to play ball. It could happend, i think they spent a lot of time & energy on the Nightbreed & Halloween deals, we might see a lot more titles on the horizon, until something more complicated comes along, like trying to negotiate a box set for Hellraiser or Phantasm.

If a Phantasm box set is to be announced (which would get an instant preorder from me), I would think that they would wait until the fifth is released. Or maybe that's just foolish hope

just to chime in on that Animal movie. I watched it recently and wow did I ever hate it. Even at 80 minutes it felt way too long. On the flip side, also watched New Years Evil on Netfix and enjoyed it for the z grade slasher movie that it was. More thriller than horror but entertaining as only those old 80's slashers can be

Just stopping by to put in my monthly request for Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3.

Since Comic Con is coming up this week, I thought I'd take a shot.

I would love for the 10 to be:

Sleepaway Camp 2/3
Beastmaster 2/3
Blood Games
Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight/Bordello of Blood
Society
Return of the Living Dead 2 (with original music)
Return of the Living Dead 3 (Unrated)

I'm just dreaming on a couple of these. We can't even get DVDs of a couple of them.

Another MGM movie that I think could be had by Scream Factory is
The Offspring (From A Whisper to A Scream) Another title I always forget about.. that could also be possible for Friday.. probably a better chance than Society (they say that Mr Yuzna wants too much for it)
From A Whisper to A Scream, Invaders from Mars, Dolls, the Fly II would make my day...
