Yeah, like I said, I'll probably still watch the sequels because they deserve their own shots and I'm curious. Funny thing is, I love Evil Dead and Army of Darkness but I've never cared much for Evil Dead 2

Hmm. That's a new one. I have never heard that opinion before. I think that ED2 is the only one that feels like a complete story and not just a part of something bigger.

I don't even own it but I'll give it another shot when I get the time. Just never held my interest and I'm not even sure why.

Damn Germany, they also have Howard The Duck and Nighthawks. That cover art is pretty sweet. I would love to see what kind of artwork Shout Factory would put out, particularly Milliner or Osbourn.

No love for Ghoulies and Ghoulies 2? For shame.... Seriously though, I really hope 2015 is the year of Universal titles. There are so many deserving titles that are more popular than what's left in the mgm vaults. Some of which that already have decent transfers as digital downloads.

Had they not announced Escape from New York, I would've had Carrie on the "highly unlikely" list. Now, though, I'm almost expecting it.

I'd definitely buy them. They're a better option than SF releasing more movies I already have, like the suggested Carrie, Jeepers Creepers, Species, etc.

I'd love to see the 1977 TV movie, Ants, released on Blu-ray by Scream Factory. The movie is about these poisonous ants that come out of a construction site next to this extravagant hotel. It's a fun little eco-horror flick from when those were quite popular. I remember that the final scene had me itching for days because I kept imagining ants all over me. You may be laughing as you read this, but the same thing will happen to you if you watch this film. Trust me. The Suzanne Somers sequence is quite unnerving as well, if I recall correctly.

Also on the subject of ant movies...
Don't even get me started on Phase IV. It's an understated, but brilliant flick that has been on my Blu-ray wishlist for quite some time. Scream Factory would be amazing for this one.

so has anyone seen or heard of a title called Metamorphosis: The Alien Factor?

It came out in the 90's and was on the Vidmark label. It's cheesy but immensely watchable and has some really gooey, gory effects. The two lead actresses are terrible which of course is part of its charm.

Reason I bring this up, is Vidmark still a company? Who would have the rights? This type of title is even pretty niche for Scream Factory and probably wouldn't sell that many titles but I sure liked the movie.

Hopefully MGM or Scream Factory or Criterion or SOMEBODY will remaster "Carrie" for it's upcoming 40th anniversary in 2016! If there is a God... Sigh. I think if I could get a great remaster of that film... my all time favorite film... then I'll pretty much be set for life. Lol. I don't even need new special features. I mean, I'll take them, but I don't need them. I just wish some company would take the time and remaster it as if it were a film, like, "Jaws", "The Exorcist", or "Halloween". I know it's not as near as popular as those three, but I don't care. Lol. I love it. I think it deserves better treatment.
