Preordered Squirm and Dolls.

OTish: I really wish Shout would introduce a points system on their website, similar to Arrow and Zavvi. I buy all the Collector's Editions from them directly and I think getting some credit back from ordering from them would be awesome.

I thought the last order I did with shout! they had a free shipping option, but now it looks like that option is gone.

I wish Scream Factory would release a Double Feature of the original Willard and Ben. And a Collector's Edition of Martin. To round out 3 great first-name horror movies lol.

I believe Martin is in the same hands as Dawn of the Dead. Willard and Ben are both Paramount.

I thought I'd read that Willard and Ben were caught up in some sort of legal quagmire involving Bing Crosby's estate.

All this talk of MARTIN makes me wish Romero , or the powers that be, could find the 3+ hours cut in black and white thats hidden somewhere on this planet.

I'm sure its been brought up before, but I wonder if Scream will try to release House (1986) on Blu ray. I would love to own that.

I believe he (or rather his production company) produced both Willard and Ben for Cineram to distribute. All of the Bing Crosby produced Cinerama titles were sold to Paramount, I believe. So I'd imagine that Paramount has them, but its very likey the rights are disputed since they've never been released.

Its part of the Lakeshore/New World Catalog, which is with Image Entertainment. Same goes for the sequel.

I bought three Scream Factory titles from Movie Stop during my lunch break...

Without Warning
Sleepaway Camp
The Town That Dreaded Sundown

I had some cash on hand, since I reorganized my music collection and decided to sell off some redundant CDs that I owned in different incarnations, so this was a good time to revisit nostalgia (Sleepaway Camp), check out a title that has intrigued me since hearing about it some time ago (Without Warning), and to make an adventurous blind buy with a movie that I've heard good things about from time to time (The Town That Dreaded Sundown).

I'm taking a chance on The Town That Dreaded Sundown, but I've got a good gut feeling about it.

So got "Phantom of the Paradise" and "Without Warning" today. Sucks that "Shout!/Scream Factory" has fallen victim to using those not-as-good blu-ray cases with the snap guard thing and they're slightly slimmer. They're not using the good Viva Elite cases on these two releases atleast the ones I got.

If you end up not liking "Town..." there's always that free bonus movie that comes on the DVD, I think it's called "The Evictors."

Scream Factory (and SHOUT! for UHF) has really impressed me this year. They have released or are scheduled to release some of my most wanted titles like Lake Placid, Ginger Snaps, UHF, Pumpkinhead, etc.

I am interested in picking up Without Warning, but I think I'll wait till a deal presents itself. It's a blind buy and knowing my tastes, I'll probably like it but not love it and would prefer to pay less than full price. Or I'm just cheap.

So I guess if anyone grabbed Without Warning, didn't really like it, and wants to unload it, PM me!

I actually prefer the Vortex cases that Shout seems to be using now. I've never had one break or crack like many of the Viva Elites I've had to replace. FYI, Vortex cases are also used by Synapse, Blue Underground, Sony, and Disney.

Got my first scream factory title (Lake Placid) today. Very much looking forward to grabbing Pumpkinhead and Lord of Illusions as well.

I wouldn't have minded if they had those from the beginning but since I want everything to match, I ordered some Elites from Casetopia.

Hopefully they're just using them for the 2 disc releases.
