Just watched this for the first time and I wasn't impressed. It started off ok but went downhill fast and became very tedious by the end, not really about the alien at all just lots of scenes with Jack Palance & Martin Landau hamming it up.

After my first taste of blu rays I realized eating them is much better then watching them.

Seriously though my son loves to pull my blu rays off the shelf and chew on them. He always seems to go for my favorites and never the crap in my collection.

While I was watching Without Warning yesterday evening, I got the impression that Jack Palance, Martin Landau, Neville Brand, and Ralph Meeker must have had a lot of fun starring in the movie together. This added to the appeal of the movie for me.

The actual alien is not shown until late in the film, but the first reveal is such a great scene, and it's worth the wait.

My daughter chewed up the case/cover art for The Avengers blu ray and bit my COD: Black Ops 2 disc so that it won't play. She was 2 at the time.

Huh. I'd just get rid of the dog. Problem solved. And think of the money you'd save on dog food!

They go well in a creamy Alfredo sauce with a sweet red wine

Man I have the worst luck trying to find Scream titles locally. Went to Hastings to see if they happened to get Without Warning or Deadly Eyes, just to find that the only (re)stocked title was 2 copies of Dead Shadows. I swear the smaller titles either never come in, or only appear 5 months after the fact.

I saw a new copy of Funhouse with a slipcover at the Movie Stop in Kennesaw, Georgia yesterday when I was buying my three titles. I'm not a huge fan of that movie personally, so I passed up on it.

I'm not sure if this particular Movie Stop will ship the item to you, but it may not hurt to call them at (770) 590-1765 and find out.

The only Scream titles I don't own are Halloween 2 and 3 because I figured I am buying the deluxe Halloween set, unless there is a reason too buy those two along with the set?

The Vincent Price Collection is my favorite Scream Factory release, in terms of the whole package (movies, special features, presentation, etc.).

In terms of movie content alone, I'd have to go with Assault on Precinct 13.

Wow that's impressive. I'm down 3 BDs, and 2 DVDs (not sure I'll be getting those though)

yeah, i should just put Assault and They Live as a tie together. because i was equally impressed with both. the soundtrack for assault was great (even though it was just 3 or 4 songs) but i was like "i have to have these songs on vinyl" after hearing it.

No. If you haven't been Halloween-d out yet don't start now

Holy sh*t, you go all or nothing. This guy even owns "Saturn 3", among some other duds, but hey we all have our guilty pleasures.

Regarding the new packaging route they seem to be taking I guess I'll take it over how "Blue Underground" ships, discs out of their holders, just floating around the case. Atleast this is the trend with the last two purchases I made from them.

By the way, I got a new sealed copy of the "All Night Horror Marathon" that includes "Schizoid" (AKA 'A Lizard in a Woman's Skin').

Only issues are the bottom of the casing is damaged as hell and who knows where to find a clear two-disc holding Viva case? Also the guy never mentioned to me that it's a promo copy like one they give out to reviewers, I found this out immediately when I saw the bar code punched out.

Edit - By the way, I'm about to have an all out Crazy Eddie style free give away of all my current UV codes I'm holding onto at the moment so if you're interested, keep eyes on the Trading section of the forum.
