There's just SO MUCH going on, it looks absurd. Reminds me of the hilarious cover art for the special edition DVD of John Grisham's The Rainmaker that utilized 5 different fonts.

USA Faust Love of the Damned

I wish someone would release Faust Love of the Damned on Blu-ray uncut. This was such a good movie and has become a cult favorite.

I believe it is Lionsgate, but not sure.

I think its terrible that several Brian Yuzna films (to my limited knowledge) which includes Faust, Society, Necronomicon and even Arachnid (he produced) do not have blu ray releases in the USA - coincidence ???

None do. Most are Lionsgate (SNDN 4, Dentist 1&2, Faust, Beyond ReAnimator, etc.), and the ones he owns (Society, Bride of ReAnimator, Necronomicon) he apparently wants huge amounts for.

Thank you, I appreciate the effort and pain. Even though I only own a relatively small selection of Scream titles it's nice to see all the covers together.

I think Scream should get Stuart Gordon's King Of The Ants, they do have access to through Millennium Home Entertainment. But is just not that great of a film and it was shot on a shoe string budget.

They have access to Millenium? Do the high profile Hammer titles then.

Personally I thought it was a bit shitty BUT it has Andrew Divoff so that balanced things out a bit. One of my best friends and I have this obsession with Divoff ever since we saw him in the first two Wishmaster films years back.

Speaking of Divoff, since Shout and Scream try to release a number of films other companies won't bother with, it would be cool if Shout released Toy Soldiers on Blu-ray. I remember seeing that in the theater when I was real young. I have it on DVD but having it in HD would be nice.

More Stuart Gordon would be fantastic. Dagon is one of my favorites by Gordon.

Is Nightbreed 3-disc, Vincent Price Collection 2 and Halloween Collection anyone's most anticipated BDs of the year? for me yes and i pre-ordered all 3 of them.

Who thinks SF did a nice new HD transfer to Phantom of the Paradise? crisp coloring with nice detail and all that and with those amazing extras, it's one of the best SF releases ever this year with nice PQ just like this year's Sleepaway Camp or Deadly Eyes or Leviathan or Ginger Snaps or Lake Placid or Slumber Party massacre in terms of SF PQ this year? fans of the film are very pleased.

And who thinks Deadly Eyes is better looking than any bootleg DVD fans held on to? and who can't wait to see Halloween 6 Producer's Cut and Nightbreed (both cuts) on new HD transfers from original negatives?

Who else is surprised of how good Lake Placid and Ginger Snaps looked? i was surprised myself and the extras are awesome too.

Who else also can't wait to see how Lord of Illusions in it's DC would look good in new HD transfer?

I think Ginger Snaps, Southern Comfort and Dog Soldiers were each licensed from Millennium Entertainment. Future licensing will probably depend on whether this news will result in any philosophical changes in the way they view licensing.

I kinda, sorta think the Hammer titles are not part of this deal and I have no idea where this leaves them in terms of US distribution going forward. Hammer Films is an Exclusive Media company, and Exclusive Media had owned a minority share of Millennium Entertainment. Judging by the first article I linked to, it looks like those shares in Millennium Entertainment might have been retained by former Exclusive Media executives, Nigel Sinclair and Guy East, when they left the company earlier this year to start up White Horse Pictures since Exclusive Media was not mentioned at all in that deal.

The rights to Faust, Dagon, Arachnid and Beyond Re-Animator were all assigned to Trimark (now Lionsgate) by Bryan Yuzna's production company, Filmax, back in 2001. It's not clear whether Lionsgate owns those films in perpetuity or if those films will eventually revert to Filmax. I have a feeling it's probably the lattter.

Yeah and it looks like the film speeds up on some of the camp fire attack scenes.

I watched Without Warning last night and I thought it was a great B movie. Martin Landau as the crazy vet was fun to watch and Jack Palance was great as the hunter. It is definitely a film I would like to revisit over and over again it has a certain charm to it.
