They aren't my first choice but they are serviceable. It depends on what shipping service they use. Ive used them twice in two years because theyre prices are higher, but if they had some kind of discount on something Id consider them.
I like boulevardmovies.com , they are also a good company to order from. Im an Amazon Prime member so I usually don't steer away from them unless I have a gift card from them or there is some kind of discount that I couldn't refuse. Of course I use Shout Factory's own website to order movies from, which is usually for their one month early marketing scheme. That works for me all the time

Sorry to say,I just called them for Tomboy and they told me it was on backorder, even though it said in stock. You may want to call them and check.

I'm fairly sure I tried to get either Alien 2 or The Taint through Movies Unlimited because they claimed it was in stock. They then cancelled the order a week later.

When the order is made through the Movies Unlimited website, you can check the order status there. Usually the in stock items ship pretty quickly, but some will be back ordered when they don't have them in stock.

They have the 20% off & any other sale from time to time, and I use them a lot. Got the Herzog set from them for around $100 when the price was around $150 at Amazon. It was a pretty good deal at that time.

Are they in the States or over seas? I have a Region Free Player so it doesn't really matter. Are they worth using? I am always looking for more places to order from.. I saw you said they offered 20% off sounds good. Have you tried DVDPlanet or DeepDiscount.com? They have good sales too and DVDPlanet.com hava rewards program like Best Buy. If you haven't tried them out do so.. I went to Best Buy here in Greensboro, North Carolina and was highly unsatisfied with their Horror section of Blu-rays they had nothing in the way Scream Factory. The had one shelving unit of Horror. It was pathetic. I guess as it gets closer to Halloween they might get more stock in. I use to go to Best Buy all the time, now if I use Best Buy I use their website.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have a look at DVDPlanet & DeepDiscount. Rewards program sounds good.

BTW, for MU you need to subscribe to their newsletter to take advantage of their sales. Currently they are doing "buy 3 and get 4th free" till 9/1.

Fairly good deals, hopefully they'll add a few more that are higher up on my wishlist.

These both should have slips because Scream had start shrink wrapping the slips in january, both of mine had slips.

Does Scream Factory have a sale every October? I remember picking up a bunch of titles for $15.99 last October. If this is an annual sale, I think I will pass on the $16.99 sale prices on Amazon right now.

yeah, but Amazon is reliable as far as instocks go... and Family Video only updates their inventory each morning so when you order something that says "in stock" ... it may not be.

I had that experience and will not do business with them again...

Picked up Motel Hell, From Beyond and Night of the Demons at MovieStop today...traded in all my Fast and the Furious Blurays and some Wrestling Blurays, ended up walking out only owing $19 for the Scream releases.

I wish Scream Factory would release Tales From The Crypt Demon Knight. That movie rocks!

I'm ordering Lake Placid soon, really great comedy/horror flick.

Shout/Scream Factory takes the f***ing cake as the absolute WORST f***ing customer service on the planet. I pre-ordered the Halloween box set when it first went up on their site to obviously get the lithograph and just recently had my card compromised, so my bank had to issue me another one. So I contact their customer service department to explain my predicament and find out how I go about fixing this and they tell me that all I can do is cancel and re-order. Yeah, I'm sure if I cancel my order then one will magically appear as available on their site again, so I send another email calmly explaining that the item is SOLD OUT and I have no guarantee that I can just easily order another one, so what response do I get? The same exact word for word email I got the first time! Do these a**holes even read these customer inquiries?! I literally got the same cut and paste response as the first time! Looks like I'm screwed because their customer service is non existent! Even tried calling the number listed for them and it might as well not even exist, it's been busy all day.
