Yep! Thats one im talkin about. Linnea Quigley and her lipstick. That hot demon chick definitely gives David Blaine a run for his money

I tried to pick it up and the producer wanted too much.

Bummer to hear. "Night of the Demons" is really ripe for a collector's edition Blu-ray especially since the director and cast are very enthusiastic about being apart of it. Have you looked into any of the films the Vestron owned but Lionsgates' rights expired on? I'm not even sure which films in particular those would be.

Can not wait for Phantasm II

Also, The Tourist Trap is an old, creepy as sin movie that needs a BD release.

What a bummer, this is one of my most wanted blu-rays bar none. I'd think Kevin Tenney would love to get a blu-ray done, and you know Linnea Quigley would be a very willing part of the extras.

Is Prince of Darkness a possibility? I can't think of any other Universal titles that merit a release before moving on to another studios' library

Cliff....do you know if Echo Bridge still holds 'Prom Night' (1980)? Would it be of interest to Scream Factory to eventually pick it up? It's always irked me that it has never been given a decent release other then the widescreen PAL conversion DVD. Such a guilty pleasure of mine....even though I don't feel guilty saying that hahaha.

It should be. But among Carpenter's cult classics, this one always seems to get lost in the shuffle. I'd definitely get it though, it has that classic 80's era Carpenter aura, and I know Shout could give the cover a nice re-envisioning because the original cover art kinda sucked.

I see Phantasm II on the list.
Why no blu-ray for the first one?

I'm pretty sure I saw him post in the past day or two about this exact question on Facebook. I believe they still have it.

I know I want it. I'd also love to see Christine.

And The Burning.

In the Mouth of Madness is owned by Sony I believe, not sure about Prince of Darkness.

And who owns Christine?

I would love all of these as collector's edition blurays.

For me, it's gotten to a point where I'll accept a barebones sub-par transfer.
Sure, I want these to look as good as they possibly can, but if I'm told Echo Bridge is the only option, I still wouldn't hesitate, because at this point it's just a matter of owning them in the format. As silly and desperate as that may sound, it's just so long overdue, I'm not going to waste a second getting picky. These should have been in my blu-ray collection 2 years ago.

In the Mouth of Madness is New Line/Warner Bros, Prince of Darkness is Universal (so Shout Factory is a possibility), and Christine is Sony (maybe Twilight Time or Mill Creek?).
