I'm quite happy with the special features announced for Deadly Blessing, can someone give me a list of the ones from the Arrow edition to compare?
That being said, I was kind of hoping and I'm a little disappointed they could't (or she refused) get Lisa Hartman. Ever since her great turn as Ciji Dunne / Cathy Geary Rush, I've been a big fan. BTW, that show was great and her storyline was so entertaining. I met her once and not only was she really nice, but she's still really hot.

Akins was a PIMP in that movie. He had chicks on the hook everywhere! He even grabbed a little on that older nurse!

I like how in the Scream Fac doc he questions his character, running off with a young woman and a six pack of beer. He said something like, "some doctor I was!" lol

Maybe the big announcement were the special features of Deadly Blessing? But as far as I know it was just a rumor that someone started.

I remember George C. Scott in "Hardcore" Yelling that exact same thing...."Turn it OFF!" That is a great ending scene for Halloween III though...classic!

My favorite scene though is probably when Tom Atkins is talking to the guy who bums a swig of his booze outside the hotel about Cochran and the guy goes "He is probably listening right now...FU Cochran". Then Tom Atkins is all like "wooo wooo easy!". Love that!
Yeah, that part had me laughing. great freakin movie!

Cmac - have you all thought about releasing "The House That Screamed" under the Scream Factory line? I know that you released it on an Elvira dvd but the print was pretty dodgy (which is part of the charm of the Elvira dvds) and this seems to have a larger following unlike the other Elvira movies.

The director also did the wonderful "Who Can Kill a Child?" but I know Dark Sky owns the distrubution rights for that one.

That would likely be a Kino/Redemption title, like all of the other Bavas.

So they'll be two titles announced tomorrow, both from the 90s and both never released on DVD before.

I'm going for The Borrower and The Vagrant. Not sure if MGM have the rights to the latter.

I think Olive may have the rights for Night of the Scarecrow.

MGM do appear to have The Vagrant. It's a classic which is long overdue a release. Please Scream...

Default Elvira- Mistress of the Dark

Since Shout released several Elvira properties, any chance of releasing her original film? It's awesome, it seems to fit the genre, a lot of the original cast is still around to do interviews, ---- fingers crossed

I'm guessing Blood Games. It's an MGM title and it's streaming on Netflix, like some of the previous titles (Video Dead, TerrorVision, Evictors, etc).

It's a great flick, so I'd be happy if this was one of them. I still own the VHS.

Highway To Hell would be a good one. Even though it's not a horror film, I'd love a blu-ray of Ate de Jong's previous film Drop Dead Fred, one of my childhood favorites!
