Do the Canadian versions of Scream Factory titles have French on the artwork? Their releases are more affordable on Amazon Canada but I hate having two sets of language on the artwork

I really think Alligator can happen now. They could pair them up, or they can do the same thing that they did with the Pumpkinhead titles. Part 1 could be the CE - and hope the Red Shirt Pictures' extras are all ported over as the DVD was a terrific release. Part II to my knowledge only had a VHS release in the USA and might do well on its own as well for that reason...

Yes part 2 of Alligator only had a VHS release here, but a DVD release in the UK. I would love to have both on Blu-ray... I have the UK version and it is nice, but Scream could make it killer.

I have Alligator II DVD - I think mine is German *Alligator II Die Mutation*

Regarding the Thing - if they make a deal with Universal - I am certain that they will continue to pry that away to be announced at next years Comic Con.
Right now that's a big *if*

I've asked them a few times about this, Shocker and Phantasm 1,3&4. They've always answered no. Would like to, but no.

But now Lionsgate lost it...

Also let's review the independents Scream can get titles from:
-Hammer (Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires, Scars of Dracula, Lust for a Vampire, Quatermass 2, Quatermass and the Pit)
-Wing Nut (Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles, Braindead/Dead Alive)
-Brian Yuzna (Society, Bride of Re-Animator, Necronomicon)
-Don Coscarelli (Phantasm 1,3&4)
-Double Helix (Sleepaway Camp 2&3)

Misc owners have:
-Alligator
-Alligator II
-House IV

every single one you mentioned would be great! Other than Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires. That one is hard to sit through.

I keep hearing that Scream "can't get the other Phantasm films", but since no one is distributing them right now, has anyone said why Scream can't come to an agreement with Coscarelli? It seems odd that he would not want to make money off his intellectual property. Has anyone seen what DVDs of Phantasm IV are going for on eBay lately? There's clearly high demand for this stuff.

This company should be the people to finally bring Dellamorte Dellamore (Cemetery Man) to blu-ray in the US. SOOO many versions in other countries, not sure why we don't have one yet.

The first Phantasm probably has one of those legal red tape issues along with Hell Night and Fade To Back. Some titles just have complicated rights to them
When studios lose rights then no's can become a yes, possibly. Now with Alligator out there, that can be put on the table

The word on the street with the Brian Yunza titles is that he wants too much for them. I cant explain the Studio Canal issue or any overseas releases, but at least here in the USA, he wants a lot.

Two more titles Legend of the Werewolf and the Ghoul from 1975 are a couple of more titles where the owner wants an obscene amount of money and may never get them.

OT: Suggestion for updating OP (specifically directed at zbinks): I think it would look better if the section that has the links for the reviews would be eliminated. The links could be added to the list of titles itself or just be done away with entirely (every title gets reviewed so if someone was interested in it, they could just search it). Same thing for the Shout titles.

I think this is the best looking studio thread OP. The list format looks a lot better than having all of the individual title pictures. Nice job.

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Anything to let us down early about the Hammers (including Q-Pit), or should we continue to hope?
