What of Westechester's catalog could correspond to this comment they posted a week or so ago?

I don't have it because I didn't like War of the Gargantuas. If I was a bigger fan of Rodan than I would have picked it up by now, but I was just waiting to see if it would ever get a solo release in any format.

Now you have me all uncertain. I was sure I read that somewhere, or maybe it was that they were not able to renew the rights to do a BD. Clearly, you should not take anything I said as gospel.

Anyone have any idea when SF will post their first October announcement/sale? Amazon is starting to discount some titles a bit and I'm getting antsy.

Seven dollars is too much for you? Yikes. Classic Media have said several times they are never releasing their stuff on bluray, I guess we could see if anything pans out from this new deal, but if I were you I'd get it now before it goes OOP and skyrockets in price.

Well, the list of titles mentioned as being part of that library certainly do NOT match the Scream Factory brand as they seem to be mostly titles from the classic era (pre-1970). I don't remember any Orson Welles horror titles being released by Scream lol. Maybe Shout Factory or even Timeless Media is what they meant?

It's been lower on other sites, but if you absolutely can't wait then yes, I'd recommend it.

I saw a groupon that sold out quickly months ago, but that's the lowest I've seen on this set.

I was thinking maybe The Stunt Man. Feels Scream-ish.

Placed an order for the Terrorvision Double Feature and The Beyond

(Not Scream, but also grabbed Black Sunday for $12. Highly recommended for horror fans).

War of the Gargantuas is awesome. Rodan is too.

I hope these are released on blu-ray soon. Also, Godzilla 1985, with the Japanese cut included.

Anyone seen Death Watch? Recommended?

Not that I should pull the trigger since I'm already spread pretty thin by all the Scorpion, Code Red, and expensive Shout releases lately ><

***NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT***

Good morning everyone. We start our month-long "Shocktober" celebration with a new title announcement (one of several this month). Actually, we have TWO films to reveal today that will be in a double-feature: The horror comedies LOVE AT FIRST BITE (with George Hamilton) and ONCE BITTEN (with Jim Carrey)! This is the first time on the Blu-ray format for both films and is expected to land near Valentine's Day 2015. No details on extras at this time.

Re: LOVE AT FIRST BITE - We are aware that prior DVD versions of the film were altered, specifically during a key moment in a disco in which the song "I Love the Nightlife" song (sung by Alicia Bridges) was replaced by another track. We are doing our best to correct this and will keep you posted on the progress.

Stay tuned this month for many more surprises!

Just because you don't like them doesn't mean someone is not happy. I don't like Once Bitten either and haven't seen the other one. This just means we are closer to getting Vampire's Kiss.

I have fond memories of Once Bitten. I watched it often as a kid. But I think it's on Netflix, so unless they get Jim Carrey to do a commentary, I'll have to pass.
