So this answers my questions about how they intend to extend the longevity of the line then...Can't say I'm especially enthused.

I'm all for Vampire's Kiss though. And to be fair that's a FAR blacker comedy than these two.

Nice to see them venture out, but both are films I would not want. I do like them, but not enough to purchase them.

Actually, we have TWO films to reveal today that will be in a double-feature: The horror comedies LOVE AT FIRST BITE (with George Hamilton) and ONCE BITTEN (with Jim Carrey)! This is the first time on the Blu-ray format for both films and is expected to land near Valentine's Day 2015. No details on extras at this time.

Re: LOVE AT FIRST BITE - We are aware that prior DVD versions of the film were altered, specifically during a key moment in a disco in which the song "I Love the Nightlife" song (sung by Alicia Bridges) was replaced by another track. We are doing our best to correct this and will keep you posted on the progress.

It's not a comedy. It is a dark character study with an eccentric lead.

Sure's it's not straight-up comedy, but many would describe it as blackly comic. Certainly it's a more suitable Scream Factory choice (given their past releases) than the two announced titles.

I grew up with LOVE AT FIRST BITE and ONCE BITTEN I can't wait to get these, since they are doing Horror Comedies/Spoofs maybe one day they will release:

MY BEST FRIEND IS A VAMPIRE

Also I really hope they are able to get the right Disco song for LOVE AT FIRST BITE, like it or not "I like the Night Life" just fit in the movie and made since.

I love Once Bitten, so I'm very happy with this announcement.

However, I will say I would have preferred it were paired with Teen Witch, or even Vampire's Kiss as already mentioned.

I'm probably in for the Love at First Bite/Once Bitten double feature.

I saw Love at First Bite on television when I was in third grade, and, while I have not seen it since then, I remember having a blast watching it at the time.

Some friends and I went to see Once Bitten at the theater on the night of release back in 1985. It's not quite in the same league as Love at First Bite, but it's a good little slice of 1980s B-movie nostalgia.

Always enjoyed 'Love at First Bite'. Haven't seen 'Once Bitten' but not the biggest Carey fan. Still, if the price is right I'll pick it up for the first film.

As long as we're going the route of horror comedies, I'd like to submit the possibility of Scream releasing the never before on DVD, not on iTunes, not on Netflix, not on Amazon or any streaming service as far as I know... Meet the Applegates. I don't know many (any?) people who have seen this, but it is a childhood favorite of mine, and something I haven't seen in many many years.

I'd also give my left nut for Lunatics: A Love Story. Holy hot damn would that make my god-damn day.

Meet the Beetles! I remember renting that a couple of times when I was a kid. I haven't watched it since then, although I do have a copy of the laserdisc around somewhere.
