Clever, but since Warner has Critters the chances are, as Cliff would say *not likely*

Love GHOULIES, This is great News Ghoulies II is ok but the W.A.S.P. Soundtrack is the best part.

I hope they have. Universal has some good horror titles yet to be released on BD. Demon Knight is a good title for them to do. I'm crossing my fingers.

Definitely , I did watch DK last night actually - that's high on my wish list - we can only hope SF makes a new deal with Universal or Universal releases it themselves

I thought Ghoulies was awful. I started to watch the second though, and I quite liked it (until I fell asleep fifteen minutes in). The only one I own is the third, but I still have to watch it.

I don't keep up with all this studio bs as much as some of you. So are WBs being greedy ass holes? Meaning, even if they damn well know they have no intention to release this or that low budget film on Blu-ray they still won't let another company do it for a price?

With Exorcist out of the way, I think Critters will come to BD as 2016's horror box set. They have exhausted their big three: Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Exorcist. Next year is supposedly Hammer, although it is only 4 of the 8 they own.

to answer a couple questions, or rather correct a few statements, that I'm too lazy to go back and quote:

1. Elvira: Mistress of the Dark isn't MGM. Its with Image Entertainment / Lakeshore.
2. C.H.U.D. is also with Image / Lakeshore. So they are both probably not gonna happen.

No to being greedy but they do tend to re-release a lot of titles, they are probably using sales sheets of previous DVD releases of Critters for the best way to release them , if they plan to do so. Then they have to make HD masters for them
At the moment the Archive is starting to increase the amount of blu rays so we'll have to wait and see

All four Critters films are available from Amazon Instant Video in HD as are a number of other desirable horror films that they've yet to release on Blu-Ray.

On a scale of 1-5 Ghoulies is an easy .5 or 1 where as Part 2 is a solid 3.5-4. It's just a fun film you can't hate. Ghoulies 3 is pretty much slapstick comedy with the ghoulies, but I found it to be a lot of fun and a solid 3-3.5 during my first viewing last year.

I would love for Shout! to include the video of "Scream Until You Like It" as an extra.

Thanks for the info... I went back just now and Picked up both titles (and the magnets) for $31.98, without the shipping fee's. I'm expecting a Slip Cover for Motel Hell, but I'm a bit nervous about Sleepaway camp. All my prior orders from shout have always had them however, so I'm optimistic.

I'm curious to see the magnets as well. The Coasters were cool, (I ended up with 2 sets of them and lacquered all of them) but they've yet to be used, and currently just sit in a stack on my desk. These Magnets should be a bit more interesting/useful.

Sleepaway Camp's is shrinkwrapped on IIRC. Somehow I've ended up with slipcovers on every single one I've ever ordered from anywhere, besides Halloween II, despite my taking them off and throwing them all in a drawer so they don't get in my way :P

I really want Motel Hell, but this damn "buy 2, get free shipping" thing is making me want to buy Night of the Demons too, despite not knowing if I'll even like it. Hooray for possible wasting money! I guess it's only 7 bucks since shipping is 6. :P

I know the feeling of blind buying.. I like NOTD for the horror elements, the gore and suspense. its your typical 80s horror with some music and dancing, along with cannon fodder glad they get it characters. Angela and the demons in this are well done when it gets going, the horror aspect of it outweighs the 80s cheese. I have both 1 and 2.
They definitely are not classics such as Frankenstein with Boris Karloff or Dracula with Bela Lugosi

NOTD is a really fun time. Well worth the risk. Especially if you like Sleepaway Camp and Motel Hell.
