This is a partial list. I focused on horror from the '70s-'90s (mostly), and skipped titles that were already available on BD in the US (like Child's Play '88, Last House on the Left '72, Carrie '76, etc).

After Midnight (1989)
Breeders (1986)
Bubba Ho-Tep (2002)
Burnt Offerings (1976) - can't remember if this is still available to Shout
Carrie (2002)
Clownhouse (1989) - never gonna happen, though
Count Yorga, Vampire (1970)
Curse, The (1987)
Curse 2: The Bite (1988)
Deranged (1974)
Disturbing Behavior (1998)
Dunwich Horror, The (1970)
Edge of Sanity (1989)
Empire of the Ants (1977)
Food of the Gods, The (1976)
Frogs (1972)
Full Moon High (1981) - not released on DVD in the US
Home Sweet Home (1981) - this got a crappy DVD release a few years back, but not from MGM
Howling 2 (1985)
I, Madman (1989)
Island of Dr. Moreau, The (1977)
Lady in White (1988)
Needful Things (1993)
Night Visitor (1989)
Open House (1987) - not on DVD in the US
Poltergeist 3 (1988)
Poughkeepsie Tapes, The (2007)
Rage: Carrie 2, The (1999)
Raw Meat (1972)
Return of Count Yorga, The (1971)
Shredder (2003)
Sometimes They Come Back (1991)
Species II (1998)
Stigmata (1999)
Strange Invaders (1983)
Tentacles (1977)
Terror on Tour (1980) - not on DVD in the US
Troll (1986)
Vampire's Kiss (1988)
Woods, The (2006)

I can see Shout licensing some of those titles.. probably some from the Midnite movie DVD series..
Its already been said Twilight Time has Count Yorga
There is also some word from some insiders that I read somewhere about Burnt Offerings would not look good in HD due to either the way the film was shot or just that the elements werent great...something along those lines..I think there was a quote from TT about that at HTF a short while back...

If Scream has the Midnite Movies, then we need Frogs and we also need the 1977 adaptation of The Island of Dr. Moreau.

Also Dead Of Winter, The Attic, and Special Effects, to name a few.

If they're doing Ghoulies and Love At First Bite, then we might as well throw in Class Reunion. It's an awful movie though, so I hope they don't bother. I do hope they do Teen Witch though.

Their MOD line has released a few as well, like Spellbinder, The Ambulance, Wicked Stepmother, Buried Alive, The Caller, Windows, etc. Scream / Shout Factory has dipped into this well before, including the upcoming New Year's Evil.

They also used to have quite a few really fun titles on NetFlix that never made it to DVD, like The Immortalizer and Blood Games, both of which I would LOVE to see on blu-ray but probably don't have enough of an audience. They also had The Resurrected, but that was previously released on DVD by LionsGate, so maybe MGM only has broadcast rights?

They also supposedly have Bikini Island, which means they probably have Last Dance as well. This would be a terrific little slasher double-feature blu-ray, but again, barely anyone has seen these, so they probably don't have the appeal unfortunately. Two extremely fun films with no audience.

Also keep in mind Kino is also a big player (along with TT to a certain extent) in the mix so whatever Shout does not license Kino could .. Planet of the Vampires and the Quatermass Experiment are prime examples.. In fact I see Kino getting a lot from the 50s and 60s

it's another movie that was shot with a soft filter and gauze.... Hitchcock's MARNIE is another film that comes to mind that looks this way... it's true they don't look very good on blu ray or dvd... the higher the resolution (ironically), the worse they look!!

Scream Factory must be saving their best announcements for the last half of the month.

**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENTS**

Our month-long "Shocktober" celebration continues with two more films to reveal. The 1988 horror comedies VAMPIRE’S KISS (with Nicholas Cage) and HIGH SPIRITS (with Peter O’Toole, Steve Guttenberg and Daryl Hannah) will make their debut on the Blu-ray format next Feb as a double-feature!

Artwork you see here is final. There are no details on extras at this time. Any updates on them will be announced by the end of this year.

We still have more films to announce starting next week and all-month long here on our page so be sure to check back to be the first to see them

Glad to see High Spirits coming to Blu-ray, I've always enjoyed that film. Never saw Vampire's Kiss, but I'm looking forward to checking it out.

That's what I'm hoping for, with a huge announcement on Halloween. Hopefully there's nothing else for February since it's filled to the brim.

I see a lot of people on Facebook in particular complaining about Scream's announcements this month, and while I'm not crazy about the comedies (Vampire's Kiss notwithstanding), I have to ask the question: what are they expecting exactly? Scream have been going for two years now and have released a huge amount of titles in that time. It was always going to be the case that the line would have to expand and release many 'lesser' titles to keep going. Scream seemingly no longer have a deal with Universal (at least for now) and the only substantial catalogue they can realistically mine is that of MGM, but there are 2 problems in that A) They've already released the majority of MGM's heavy hitters from the 70s onwards; and B) Other companies like TT, Kino and possibly now Arrow can rival them in this department.

I'm not saying there aren't plenty more good MGM titles for them to release - there are many of course, as the list above shows - and I imagine Scream are saving a number of MGM acquisitions, perhaps those more strictly 'horror' in nature and of bigger repute, for later in the month. But certainly, unless they can acquire surprise titles which aren't tied up with the major companies (like Class of 84), or even agree a new deal with said companies, the number of well-known collector's edition calibre titles released by Scream will inevitably diminish. We all want the likes of The Hitcher to be released, but people have to understand that many films just aren't available to Scream unless something radical happens.

For anyone who has ordered from Shout Factory / Scream directly, how satisfied were you with the packaging of your order? Did your Blu-ray(s) arrive in perfect / new condition? I assume it's just a standard bubble mailer?

I'm thinking about ordering the Collector's Edition of Dolls so I don't have to wait until November 11th for it...

Well people in general like to be unhappy and complain. Horror fans only magnify that.

I got the first 10 or so CE titles directly from them, and a decent number of the slips were crunched at the top/bottom. Not a huge deal, and that may of changed since they start shrink-wrapping them.
