Yeah, I think the system I have is really the best way for me to go about things. It does make it tricky for anyone else to find things except for me, but that's solved in about two seconds when someone asks me where something is.

Shocktober week 2 is active.

You'll notice The Howling is one of the movies in the middle, but The Burning is actually on sale. I hope next week has The Howling, because I already own The Burning.

I have a separate section for "double features".... I've found that to be the easiest way.

A double feature like Frogs and Food Of The Gods would go there.

A double feature like Blacula and Scream Blacula Scream I'll just file alphabetically with all my other blus under the former title....

I guess this means they won't have a look in.

Wow I didn't realize that many of you missed me, well I have been busy with Film School, so I haven't been keeping up with the list, mostly after November, I will try and update it, as for the October Announcements, Not many scream to me, But regardless I'm buying them all, it never hurts to try some of these out. and I will post results of the Poll at the end of the month since I figure many of you would be annoyed with my constant Poll rankings , anyways link to Poll in signature, also is the Link to my own Forum about the Poll, I would love to hear feedback and even some people willing to help, but anyways, Thanks It makes me smile knowing people like my list.

Usually with double features I store in ABC order with my single releases with whatever the first movie is. When I get Tales from the Crypt/Vault of Horror, Ill put it under T for Tales.
Some of my DVD double or triple features I have on a separate shelf in no real order such as the 4 movies for you or the VCI double features..I have a DVD section for all my MGM Midnite movies which is getting smaller

I organized my Scream titles by release date, separating the CE and non-CE titles. In fact sorting by label cleared up a lot of the OCD issues I'd have before where I tried to go by director or actor, genre, etc.

'Course we're moving here in a month or so, so I'm trying to brainstorm some cool new set-up for a "movie room"

Ive thought of that ( BOTH moving and sorting my Scream releases) Id probably sort the Scream and Shout releases as one section. So far the blu ray sections I have is one large shelf with the films alphabetical.. I have a section for my Criterions as the case size was thicker and lined up better. I have separate spaces for my steelbooks and digibooks as well. Box sets sit on top. I keep hoping for more blu ray announcements to replace my DVDs..
When that happens it opens up new spaces for me on my DVD shelves to put blu rays on. All the creativity of moving things around still hasn't helped much
I thought blu rays would give me more space but its taking as much room as my DVDs .. and Im still adding DVDs to my collection (Bubba Ho Tep and Nightmare (the Hammer film) )

The Site correctly shows The Burning Now. Nothing for me this week. I'm glad I ordered last week (Sleepaway Camp & Motel Hell) because While I really want Pumpkin Head, I either already own or have no interest in anything else on sale this week.

Add me to the list of people that would really like to see a Scream Factory edition of The Midnight Hour. I'm not sure why this hasn't happened yet from one of the cult labels, but hopefully it's coming in 2015.

Two other highly requested titles that I'm hoping will happen next year along with the recently announced and also highly requested Madman.

Fright Night 2
Hell Night

I'm fond of Food of the Gods as well, so this double feature is brilliant and classy.
Yeah I am stoked about this announcement as well!

Why is Clownhouse such a hot button issue? I've heard that mentioned before but never delved into it's history.

To quote the Big Lebowski - "Eight year olds, Dude."

Evidently the director was convicted of molestation of one of the children in the film.

I'm a little fizzy on the details (as it's been some time since I read about it), but that's the gist of it.

The one that didn't deserve an Oscar nomination last year.

FOOD OF THE GODS and EMPIRE OF THE ANTS would have been a much better paring, being that they both deal with animals growing in size due to contamination from the Earth. TENTACLES and FROGS would have in turn made a better pair, being that they both deal with slimy amphibians and cephalopods.

Frogs and Food of the Gods? COOL! i saw both on video in the late 80s and liked them, 2 guilty pleasures.

Bring on Species CE and who wants Serial Mom in a CE BD with new HD transfer supervised by John Waters and old/new extras to the BD?

The Midnight Hour is owned by Disney (it was a ABC TV movie) and I believe that's how Anchor Bay originally got it, they had the right to a few Disney titles in the early days of DVDs. I think they best we might get is a DVD re-release some day from someone like Mill Creek.

In 1988, Salva was charged with the sexual abuse of Nathan Forrest Winters, the lead actor who played Casey, during the making of this film. Salva served 15 months of a 3-year-prison term, and was released on parole.

And this might also be a reason it's not available:
MGM released the DVD before a dispute over the film rights began and MGM discontinued the film's release. As a result, the film has gone out of print. The production company that made this only released one other movie The Spirit Of 76
